تاثیر رسانه‌های اجتماعی بر دگرگونی ماهیت گروه‌های تروریستی (با تاکید بر داعش و القاعده)

فناوری‌های نوین اطلاعاتی و ارتباطی، کارکرد و ماهیت بسیاری از پدیده‌های سیاسی و اجتماعی معاصر را دستخوش دگرگونی کرده است. مطالعات و بررسی‌های انجام‌شده در زمینه شکل‌گیری و فعالیت گروه‌های تروریستی بیانگر این واقعیت است که پدیده تروریسم، هم ازنظر ماهیت و هم ازنظر کارکرد به‌صورت اساسی دگرگون شده است. امروزه، گروه‌های تروریستی چندملیتی بازیگرانی جدید در عرصه بین‌الملل محسوب می‌شوند و به‌خصوص بعد از 11 سپتامبر 2001 نقش پررنگ‌تری در مناسبات بین‌المللی پیدا کرده‌اند. اینکه چه عواملی در این ارتباط نقش موثر داشته‌اند همواره از موضوعات مورد علاقه اندیشمندان مختلف بوده است. در این پژوهش به بررسی این موضوع باتوجه‌به تاثیر شگرف فناوری‌های نوین اطلاعاتی و ارتباطی پرداخته خواهد شد. تاثیر رسانه‌های اجتماعی به‌عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین عوامل این دگرگونی از اهمیت بسیاری برخوردار است. در این پژوهش، ضمن تاکید بر گروه‌های افراط‌گرای داعش و القاعده این موضوع مورد مطالعه قرار می‌گیرد که چگونه رسانه‌های اجتماعی ماهیت گروه‌های تروریستی را در سه بُعد هویتی (از تک‌ملیتی به چندملیتی)، شکلی (از پنهان به آشکار) و ساختاری (از سلسه‌مراتبی به شبکه‌ای) تغییر داده‌اند. رویکرد این پژوهش توصیفی تحلیلی و روش آن علّی است و گردآوری اطلاعات به‌صورت کتابخانه‌ای صورت گرفته است.

The Effect of Social Media on the Transformation of the Nature of Terrorist Groups, Focusing on Daesh and AlQaeda

New information and communication technologies have changed the functions and nature of many contemporary social and political phenomena. Investigations on the formation and activities of terrorist groups indicate that their functions and nature have fundamentally changed. At present, transnational terrorist groups are regarded as new actors in the international arena. After the event of September 11 attacks, their roles have become deeper. The question of what factors have played the most important roles in this regard, have attracted the attention of the scholars of international relations. Hence, this research is intended to investigate the influence of new information and communication technologies in changing the nature of terrorist groups. The role of social media, as a central factor in this transformation, seems to be very significant. Through studying Daesh and AlQaeda extremist groups, this research investigates how social media has affected the nature of terrorist groups in three aspects of changes including identity changes (from single nationality to multinationality), formal changes (from covert to overt), and structural changes (from hierarchical to network). This is a descriptiveanalytical research following causal method whose data are collected through library method.
