Evaluation of the level of microaccelerations on-board of a small satellite caused by a collision of a space debris particle with a solar panel

The present study aims at studying the effects of possible collision of a space debris particle with a solar panel of a small spacecraft designed to implement gravity-sensitive operating process on-board. we estimated the level of microaccelerations caused by a collision of a space debris particle with a solar panel. the results presented in this article may be useful in the design and operation of modern small spacecrafts and satellites. © 2017 jordan journal of mechanical and industrial engineering.
