اتنوموزیکولوژی کاربردی در ایران: چارچوبی برای حل مسائل فرهنگی و اجتماعی از طریق موسیقی

اتنوموزیکولوژی کاربردی گرایشی در رشته اتنوموزیکولوژی محسوب می‌شود. در نیمه دوم قرن بیستم، اتنوموزیکولوژی کاربردی فعالیت‌های گوناگونی مانند برگزاری جشنواره‌ها را به‌منظور حفظ و اشاعه موسیقی‌های سنتی شامل می‌شد. در قرن بیست و یکم، دومین جریان عمده در اتنوموزیکولوژی کاربردی ظهور کرد. در این جریان، به موسیقی به‌عنوان ابزاری برای حل مشکلات اجتماعی نگریسته می‌شود. برخی از متداول‌ترین حوزه‌های کاری در اتنوموزیکولوژی کاربردی عبارت‌اند از: تلاش برای احقاق حق گروه‌های فرهنگی و موسیقایی محروم، حفاظت از حقوق موسیقایی در قالب پروژه‌های آرشیوی، تلاش برای احقاق حق فرهنگی و موسیقایی اقلیت‌ها، تلاش برای محافظت و بازتولید محیط‌های طبیعی و اجتماعی فرهنگ‌های موسیقایی، حضور در بحران‌هایی مانند جنگ و درگیری‌های اجتماعی، حضور فعالانه در بحران‌های حوزه سلامت و بهداشت، آموزش موسیقی به شکل بینافرهنگی. اتنوموزیکولوژی کاربردی به معنای امروزی‌اش در گفتمان رایج در فضای اتنوموزیکولوژی ایران جایگاهی ندارد. در میان واحد‌های مصوب رشته اتنوموزیکولوژی و پایان‌نامه‌های دانش‌آموختگان این رشته هیچ ردی از اتنوموزیکولوژی کاربردی یافت نمی‌شود. ظرفیت‌‌های اتنوموزیکولوژی کاربردی در حوزه سیاست‌گذاری فرهنگی مغفول مانده است. از جمله فرصت‌هایی که اتنوموزیکولوژی کاربردی در اختیار سیاست فرهنگی قرار می‌دهد می‌توان به این موارد اشاره کرد: باز‌تعریف گروه‌های فرهنگیموسیقایی محروم و حمایت از آنها در قالب جشنواره‌های رایج در کشور، تاسیس آرشیو‌های موسیقی منطقه‌ایی در مناطق کمتر برخوردار به‌منظور تاثیر پایدار بر حیات موسیقایی این مناطق و ارائه راه‌حل‌هایی برای بهبود شرایط فرهنگی‌‌موسیقایی مهاجرین افغانستانی در جامعه ایران.

Applied Ethnomusicology in Iran: A framework for solving cultural and social problems through music

Applied ethnomusicology is a growing trend across arts and humanities, towards the societal usefulness of academic work. In the second half of the twentieth century, it involved a variety of activities, such as holding festivals to preserve traditional music. In the 21st century, the second major trend in applied ethnomusicology has emerged i.e. music is seen as a tool to solve social problems. Some of the most common areas in applied ethnomusicology are: trying to realize the rights of deprived cultural and musical groups, protecting musical rights in the form of archival projects, trying to realize cultural and musical rights of minorities, efforts to protect the natural and social environments of musical cultures, participation in crises such as war and health and, crosscultural music education. Applied ethnomusicology, in its modern sense, has no place in the current discourse in Iran. In other words, no trace of applied ethnomusicology can be found among the approved lectures and postgraduate dissertations in this field. In short, the potential of applied ethnomusicology has been widely neglected in the cultural policy of Iran. Among cultural opportunities offered by applied ethnomusicology include: redefining deprived culturalmusical groups and supporting them within the framework of popular festivals in the country, Establishment of regional music archives in deprived areas in order to have a lasting impact on the musical life of those regions, provide solutions to improve culturalmusical conditions of Afghan immigrants.
