زمینه: پرورش یک کودک با ناتوانی در خانواده نه تنها والدین، بلکه سایر فرزندان خانواده را نیز تحت تاثیر قرار می دهد. درواقع به دلیل این که رابطه خواهران و برادران نسبت به روابط دیگر پایدارتر و طولانی تر است؛ قوت و رشد این رابطه می تواند رشد، رفتار، شخصیت، نگرش و هویت یابی آن ها را تحت تاثیر قرار دهد. این گروه از خواهران و برادران ازیک طرف به دلیل مشکلاتی مانند احساس های متضاد، متعارض، حقارت، ظلم و تبعیض که والدین به دلیل داشتن فرزند دارای ناتوانی با آن مواجه اند، تحت فشار هستند و از طرف دیگر، ناتوانی خواهر یا برادر با ناتوانی، بر رابطه خواهر و برادران تاثیر گذاشته و آن ها را در مخاطره اختلال های گوناگون قرار می دهد.نتیجه گیری: در این مقاله نخست در مورد رابطه خواهران و برادران به ویژه زمانی که یک کودک با ناتوانی در خانواده وجود دارد، بحث، سپس اثرات مثبت و منفی داشتن خواهر یا برادر با ناتوانی ارایه شده است، سرانجام اثرات داشتن خواهر یا برادر با ناتوانی بر اساس جنسیت بیان و در پایان نتیجه گیری شده است.

Effects of Having a Sibling with Disability

Background: Raising a child with disability will affect not only on parents but also on other family members. In fact, because the relationship between brothers and sisters are longer lasting than other relationship, development and advantage of this relationship can affect growth, behavior, personality, attitude and identity of them. On the one hand, these groups of siblings are under pressure because their parents experience the problems such as feeling conflict, contradictory, humiliation, oppression and discrimination. On the other hand the disabilities of siblings with disability affect the relationships of sibling and put them at risk for various disorders.Conclusion: In this article, first we discussed the relationship between brothers and sisters, especially when there is a child with disability in the family. Then the positive and negative effects of having sibling with disability are provided. Finally the effect of having a brother or sister with a disability is based on gender is expressed and in the end is concluded.
