|
In this issue of squmj, jafferbhoy et al. have shared their regional experience about the impact of adding positron emission tomography (pet)/computed tomography (ct) to conventional ct in the preoperative work-up and follow-up of a select group of patients with colorectal cancer.1 in their retrospective study, pet/ct had a major impact in the preoperative and follow-up groups, altering the management of 73% and 64% of cases, respectively.
