جمهوری‌اسلامی‌ایران به دلیل ماهیت ضداستکباری، موقعیت خاص‌ژئوپلیتیکی در منطقه، حمایت از مستضعفین جهان و حفظ سیاست استقلال‌خواهی و همچنین برنامه صلح‌آمیز هسته‌ای خود، به طور طبیعی در معرض تهدیدهای گوناگونی قرارداشته و این روند برای این کشور ادامه‌دار خواهد‌بود. با گسترش دانش‌های نوین، روش‌های مقابله نیز تغییر یافته‌است؛ جنگ شناختی به عنوان یکی از حوزه‌های کاربردی علوم‌شناختی، مفهومی است که در سالیان اخیر به صورت تکامل‌یافته‌تر از دیگر عرصه‌های نبرد، با هدف بهره‌برداری از اسرار ذهن و قلب، با کارکردی شناختی و متکی بر زیرساخت‌های نوین موردتوجه واقع شده‌است؛ از همین‌رو، نیازمند نگاهی واقع‌بینانه به وضعیت داخلی و مسیر مقابله هستیم.هدف از این پژوهش توصیف وضعیت جمهوری‌اسلامی در ابعاد‌مختلف آن، ازباب مقدمه تحلیلی صحنه‌وضعیت در جنگ شناختی است؛ و سوال اصلی آن عبارت‌است‌از: «وضعیت جمهوری‌اسلامی‌ایران در جنگ‌شناختی بنابرفرمایش مقام معظم‌رهبری چیست؟» از لحاظ هدف از نوع تحقیقات کاربردی و از نظر روش جزء تحقیقات اکتشافی آینده‌پژوهانه است که به «روش پژوهشی تحلیل محتوا» انجام شده‌است. احصاء داده ها از مجموع بیانات مقام‌معظم‌رهبری مندرج در سایت دفتر حفظ و نشر آثار ایشان است که پس از شناسایی عوامل کلیدی و پیشران‌ها و مشخص‌شدن مولفه‌های دارای بیشترین اهمیت و دسته‌بندی آنان این پژوهش تدوین گردیده‌است. نتایج این پژوهش، سبب تصمیم‌سازی صحیح، کاسته‌شدن تداخلات ناشی از اختلال دستگاه‌محاسباتی، برنامه‌ریزی متناسب، منسجم و هوشمندانه نسبت به برهم‌زدن معادلات دشمنان و به‌تبع آن اقدامات‌تقابلی به‌جهت خنثی‌سازی تاثیرات، می‌گردد.
