متاآنالیز چندسطحی رابطه‌ی بین آزادسازی مالی و توزیع درآمد

بررسی رابطه بین آزادسازی مالی و توزیع درآمد در دهه‌های اخیر مورد توجه اقتصاددانان قرار گرفته است، اما نتایج تحقیقات انجام شده ناهماهنگ و حتی متناقض است. برای بررسی و نتیجه‌گیری از این نتایج متفاوت، این مطالعه از روش متاآنالیز چند سطحی استفاده می‌نماید. به این منظور پس از بررسی محتوا و نتایج مطالعات تجربی حوزه آزادسازی مالی و توزیع درآمد و فیلتر آن‌ها بر اساس پروتکل متاآنالیز، 28 مطالعه بین کشوری شامل 591 رگرسیون و 753 ضریب برای ورود به تحلیل انتخاب شدند و مطالعاتی که متناسب با پروتکل نبودند، یا اطلاعات آن‌ها برای استخراج داده کافی نبود، حذف گردیدند. نتیجه ترکیب و برآیندگیری مطالعات منفرد نشان داد که با در نظر گرفتن تورش انتشار، رابطه منفی و کوچک بین آزادسازی مالی و نابرابری درآمد وجود دارد. همچنین نتایج مطالعه نشان می‌دهد که شاخص‌های مورد استفاده برای اندازه‌گیری آزادسازی مالی و توزیع درآمد، دوره زمانی، نمونه کشورها، وجود یا عدم وجود متغیرهای توسعه مالی، رشد اقتصادی، دموکراسی، بحران مالی، آموزش، کیفیت نهادی، تعداد نیروی کار، اتحادیه‌های کارگری، تورم، آزادی تجاری، فناوری و هزینه‌های دولت در مدل مورد بررسی مطالعات منفرد، برای توضیح تفاوت در یافته‌های مطالعات منفرد موثر است.

multilevel meta-analysis of the relationship between financial liberalization and income inequality

the proposed effect of financial liberalization on income distribution has gradually attracted the attention of economists, but research findings are inconsistent and even contradictory. to this end, after reviewing the content and results of experimental studies in the field of financial liberalization and income distribution, and filtering based on the meta-analysis protocol, 28 cross-country studies with 591 regressions and 753 coefficients were selected for analysis. studies that did not fit the protocol or had insufficient information to extract data were excluded. the results of combining and concluding the studies show that there is a small negative relationship between financial liberalization and income inequality after accounting for diffusion bias. the results of the study also show that the indicators used to measure financial liberalization and income distribution, time period, country sample, presence or absence of financial development variables, economic growth, democracy, financial crisis, education, institutional quality, number of labor force, union, inflation, trade openness, technology, and government spending in the model of each study effectively explain the differences in the results of each study.
