اثربخشی آموزش زبان با کمک مودل برعملکرد درک مطلب زبان آموزان ایرانی

ابزارهای مبتنی بر وب و اپلیکیشن هایی که پتانسیل لازم جهت افزایش انگیزه و تعامل میان زبان آموزان را دارند، توجهات زیادی را در میان جامعه ی آموزش زبان انگلیسی به خود جلب کرده اند. یکی از جدیدترین تکنولوژی های مبتنی بر وب که برای اهداف آموزشی به کار گرفته شده است مودل است که یک محیط یادگیری مجازی با منبع آزاد است. با توجه به اهمیت تکنولوژی به‌طورکلی و نادر بودن مطالعات مربوط به استفاده از مودل در آموزش زبان دوم، این مقاله با استفاده از یک پژوهش کمی و در قالب یک طرح شبه آزمایشی به بررسی تاثیر آموزش زبان دوم با کمک مودل بر توانایی درک مطلب زبان آموزان ایرانی می‌پردازد. بدین منظور در این مطالعه با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس، نمونه ای 46 نفری از زبان آموزان دو کلاس رشته ی زبان انگلیسی در یکی از واحدهای دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی در ایران (واحد تهران شمال) به‌عنوان شرکت‌کنندگان پژوهش استفاده گردید. در راستای هدف پژوهش، دانشجویان گروه آزمایش (25 نفر)، از یادگیری ترکیبی بهره مند گردیدند که در آن مودل به آموزش درون کلاسی اضافه گردید، درحالی‌که دانشجویان گروه کنترل (21 نفر) فقط با همان روش سنتی آموزش درون کلاسی آموزش دیدند. این پژوهش در طول یک‌ترم به مدت 16 هفته انجام گرفت. تحلیل آماری داده ها به کمک آزمون تحلیل کوواریانس بیانگر این بود که عملکرد درک مطلب گروه آزمایش در پایان دوره بهتر از گروه کنترل بود. این یافته ها می‌تواند پیامد های قابل‌توجه نظری و کاربردی برای آموزش زبان انگلیسی به‌عنوان زبان دوم داشته باشد.

The Effectiveness of Language Teaching with the Help of Moodle on the Performance of the Comprehension of Iranian Learners

Webbased tools and applications that have the potential to increase motivation and interaction among learners have attracted a lot of attention in the English language learning community. One of the newest webbased technologies used for educational purposes is Moodle, a virtual learning environment with open source. Considering the importance of technology in general and the rarity of studies on the use of Moodle in Second Language Education, this paper examines the impact of second language teaching with the help of Moodle on the ability to understand Iranian learners. For this purpose, in this study, a sample of 46 students of the English language school in one of the Islamic Azad University units in Iran was used as research subjects. In line with the purpose of the research, the students of the experimental group (25) received a combination of learning, in which the Moodle was added to inclass education, while the control group students (21) trained only in the same traditional method of inclass education. This study was conducted over a semester for 16 weeks. Statistical analysis of the data indicated that the comprehension function of the experimental group at the end of the period was better than the control group. These findings could have remarkable theoretical implications for teaching English as a second language.
