بررسی آموزش زنان پلیس در یگان ویژۀ ایالات ‌متحده آمریکا

علی‌رغم تاکید بر طبیعت مردانه در نیروهای انتظامی ایالات‌متحده، حضور زنان در این حرفه از روند رو به رشد چشم‌گیری برخوردار نبوده است. افسران زن در وظایف و رهبری خود پیشرفت‌های قابل توجهی داشته‌اند، با این وجود، پیشرفت در یکی از این حوزه‌ها، یعنی یگان‌های ویژه، قابل توجه نبوده است و در اغلب مواقع، انتصابات در تیم‌های یگان ویژه از سوی مردان اخذ شده است. در این مقاله به بررسی شرایط و نحوۀ آموزش زنان و چالش‌های پیش روی آن‌ها در نیروهای ویژه آمریکا (swat) پرداخته و سعی در تطبیق این موارد با شرایط موجود در یگان ویژۀ جمهوری اسلامی ایران را داریم. در این پژوهش تمرکز بر سه حوزۀ اصلی قرار گرفته است: الف) توانایی‌ها و پیش‌نیازهای جسمانی؛ ب) دیدگاه‌ها در قبال پذیرش زنان و ج) مهارت‌ها و انتظارات مرتبط با ماموریت‌ها. طبق نتایج این پژوهش، از زنان در swat استفاده ایی بهینه صورت نمی‌گیرد و از توانایی‌های خاص ایشان در تیم‌های swat آن‌طور که باید، استفاده ایی نمی‌شود که در صورت استفاده از قابلیت‌های خاص ایشان، اثربخشی ایشان و همچنین احتمال موفقیت در ماموریت‌های swat افزایش می‌یابد.

Training Women Police in US SWAT Teams

Despite the emphasis on masculine nature of law enforcement in the United States, the presence of women in the profession has not had a significant growth trend. Female officers have had significant improvements on their duty and leadership, however, progress in one of these areas, the special units, was not considerable, and in most cases, appointments to special teams unit are taken by men. In this paper, we investigate the conditions and the training of women and the challenges facing them in the Special Forces (SWAT) and try to compare it with conditions in special unit of Iran. The study is focusing on three main areas: A) abilities and physical requirements b) views on the admission of women and c) skills and expectations related to the mission. According to the findings, women are utilized properly in SWAT teams as their special abilities are not used properly which, if their specific capabilities are used, their effectiveness as well as the likelihood of success in missions of SWAT teams increases.
