درنگی بر استفاده از اینترنت اشیاء و ارائه الگوی کاربرد آن در کتابخانه‌های دانشگاهی

اینترنت اشیاء توصیفگر وضعیتی است که در آن تعداد زیادی از دستگاه‌ها (اشیاء) توسط حسگرهایی از طریق اینترنت به هم متصل می‌شوند. هدف: هدف از پژوهش حاضر مطالعۀ نگرش کتابداران کتابخانه‌ مرکزی دانشگاه‌های سطح یک کشور درباره اینترنت اشیاء و ارائه الگوی کاربرد آن در کتابخانه دانشگاهی بود. روش: پژوهش حاضر ازنظر هدف کاربردی بود و ازنظر روش، پیمایشی توصیفی بوده است. جامعه آماری پژوهش متخصصان علم اطلاعات و دانش‌شناسی شاغل در کتابخانه‌های مرکزی دانشگاه‌های سطح یک ایران بود که تعداد آن 298 نفر شد. نمونه‌گیری به روش تصادفی ساده انجام گرفت. حجم نمونه به‌وسیله فرمول کوکران 168 نفر شد. روایی پرسشنامه ‌محقق‌ساخته توسط اساتید هیئت‌علمی دانشگاه شهید بهشتی سنجیده شد و بررسی پایایی پرسشنامه حاضر از طریق محاسبۀ ضریب آلفای کرونباخ انجام‌شده است. یافته‌ها: فناوری اینترنت اشیاء در بسیاری از فرایندهای کتابخانه و در فعالیت‌های بخش‌های خدمات عمومی، خدمات فنی، خدمات جنبی کتابخانه قابل‌استفاده است. پاسخ‌های دریافت شده از کتابداران و همچنین مطالعات انجام‌شده مبین این مسئله است که گرچه بهره‌گیری از فناوری اینترنت اشیاء هزینه‌هایی را به کتابخانه‌ها تحمیل خواهد کرد اما از سویی دیگر به دلیل ارزش‌افزوده بالای استفاده از این فناوری و همچنین سرعت و سهولتی که در فعالیت‌های اجرایی و مدیریتی کتابخانه به وجود خواهد آمد، بهره‌گیری از این فناوری در کتابخانه مطلوب است. نتیجه‌گیری: بر اساس نگرش کتابداران کتابخانه‌های مرکزی دانشگاه‌های موردبررسی و مطالعات انجام‌شده، اینترنت اشیاء می‌تواند در بخش‌های مختلفی چون مدیریت، امانت، مرجع، ساختمان و تجهیزات کتابخانه استفاده شده و موجب سهولت، دقت و افزایش سرعت فرایندهای کاری و صرفه‌جویی در هزینه‌ها و ارائه خدمات مطلوب شود. درنهایت حاصل مطالعه صورت گرفته ارائه الگوی کاربرد اینترنت اشیاء در کتابخانه دانشگاهی بود.

Using the Internet of Things in Academic Libraries based on the views of the Librarians of Top Academic Central Library in Iran

Internet of things describes a situation in which a large number of devices (objects) are connected to each other via the Internet by sensors. Considering the role of libraries in collecting, processing and disseminating information, they should be able to play the role such as other organizations.The purpose of this study was to checki the attitudes of librarians in the central library of the top universities about the Internet of things and present its application pattern in the academic library.This study applied a surveydescriptive method. The statistical population of this research is the knowledge and information science specialists working in the central libraries of the first level universities in Iran, which consisted of 298 people. The statistical population of the study was gathered through a simple random sampling. The sample size is 168 by the Cochran formula, but slightly more than 180 questionnaires were distributed. Among all the distributed questionnaires, 113 questionnaires were collected.The resultsof this study show that the Internet of things technology was used in many library processes and in the activities of public services, technical services, and library services. The responses received from librarians as well as other studies have shown that although the use of Internet of things technology will impose costs on the libraries, due to the high value of this technology as well as the speed and ease with which the library’s executive and managerial activities it will arise, using this technology in the library will be desirable. Finally, the results of the study present the design and the pattern of usage of the Internet of things in the academic library.
