گشودگیِ استعاریِ عنوان در متن: بارقه‌های مدرنیسم در عناوینِ آثارِ شیخ اشراق

در این نوشتار نشان داده شده که ماهیت استعاری متن و تعاملات استعاری میان متن و عنوان که از مولفه‌های روایت‌های مدرنیستی دانسته می‌شود در برخی متون کهن نیز قابل بازیابی است. این بدان معنا نیست که در این مقاله ادعا شده که در میان متون کهن می‌توان آثاری هم‌ارز با آثار مدرنیستی یافت؛ بلکه صرفاً به این معناست که برخی از ویژگی‌ها و مولفه‌های مدرنیستی در آثار کهن ریشه داشته ‌است و چه بسا روایت‌های مدرنیستی بر اثر وام‌گیری، تغلیظ، تکثیر و بازتولید همین خصایص به‌وجود آمده باشد. قوّت‌ گرفتن قطب استعاری در نثر (داستان) یکی از وجوه تمایز زبان‌شناختی میان روایت‌های مدرن و پیشامدرن است. این وجه تمایز در عناوین آثار مدرنیستی نیز به‌چشم می‌خورد. در تحقیق حاضر با تکیه بر آثار شیخ اشراق، برخی خصایص مدرنیستی نثر او به‌نمایش گذاشته و نشان داده شده که چگونه این قابلیت از متن به عنوان‌گذاری آثار او نیز نفوذ کرده است. بدین منظور از چشمانداز دیوید لاج در اثر معروفش، زبان ادبیات داستانی نوگرا: استعاره و مجاز، به آثار سهروردی نگریسته شده و همچنین نظریۀ قطب‌های مجازی و استعاری یاکوبسن در مسیر جدیدی، یعنی در ارتباط با گشودگی استعاری یا مجازی عنوان در متن، به‌کار بسته‌ شده تا از این راه تفاوت عنوان‌گذاری در آثار سهروردی با دیگر هم‌عصرانش نشان داده شود.

Metaphoric Opening of Title in Text:The gleams of Modernism in the tiltles of Shaikh iʿIshraq’s Works

This study is going to show the metaphoric nature of a text and the metaphoric relationship between the title and the text one of the components of modern narratives in the classic works. It is claimed that there are works among the classics equivalent to the modern ones. This merely means that some of the modern features and potentials are derived from the old works. Modern works may earn the specific features of their own by condensation, proliferation, and reproduction of some certain features of the old works. Amplification of the metaphoric pole in prose (stories/ novels) should be regarded as one of the characteristics of the modern narratives. This characteristic could be observed in the title of modern woks as well. We have shown that this trait exists in the works of Shahāb adDīn Suhrawardī as well and has transferred from the text to the title of his works through the paratextual connections. This article is founded theoretically on the David Lodge’s point of view in his wellknown work The Modes of Modern Writing: Metaphor, Metonymy and the Typology of Modern Literature. We also applied Jacobson’s Theory of Metaphoric and Metonymic Poles in a new way so that we can declare the distinctiveness of Suhrawardi’s titling from that his contemporaries.
