تحلیل روایی عناصر مدرنیته در رمان هنرمندی از جهان شناور نوشته کازئو ایشیگورو بر اساس الگوی پیتر چایلدز

اقبال عمومی به رمان‌های کازئو ایشیگورو، نویسنده ژاپنی‌انگلیسی، بعد از سال 2017م، زمانی که جایزه نوبل ادبیات را ازآنِ خود کرد، رو به فزونی گذاشته است. در همین راستا، پژوهش حاضر با روش تحلیلی و تفسیری قصد دارد تا به تحلیل روایی عناصر مدرنیته در رمان هنرمندی از جهان شناور (1986) از حیث نمود مولفه های مدرنیته در عناصر داستانی براساس الگوی پیتر چایلدزبپردازد. این رمان با محوریت کنش‌های خانوادگی که نماد جامعه سنتیِ درگذار به مدرنیته است، مولفه های مدرنیته را در مفاهیمی همچون تقدس زدایی از ارزش‌ها، افول جایگاه پدر به‌مثابه اقتدار و مردگرایی در خانه، امکان غالب شدن دختران خانواده به‌ویژه فرزند کوچک‌تر و مجال بروز ایده هایشان، فردگرایی و تنهایی، سیطره و تفوق فرهنگ غرب و شیوه زیست غربی و بی‌تمایلی به فرهنگ بومی به‌تصویر می‌کشد. در انتهای داستان، امیدواری راوی به جوانان و نسل آینده مبتنی بر ابهام است؛ زیرا از یک سو وی به آینده امیدوار است و از سوی دیگر هجوم مدرنیته را به‌چالش می‌کشد. هدف پژوهش این است که برمبنای الگوی پیتر چایلدز، تاثیر مدرنیته بر جامعه سنتی در قالب نماد خانواده تبیین و تحلیل شود.

Exploring the Elements of Literary Modernism in An Artist of the Floating World by Kazuo Ishiguro Based on the Peter Childs’ Patterns

Since the year he won the Nobel Prize for Literature, the success of the novels by the JapaneseEnglish writer Casio Ishiguro has been growing. In this regard, the present study, with an empirical and interpretive approach, aims to examine the validity of the elements of modernity in the novel of An Artist of the Floating World in terms of the portrayal of the modernity components in fictional elements based on the Peter Childs’ patterns. This novel focuses on family behavior symbolizing the traditional society in transition to modernity, exploring the components of modernity in concepts such as the desecration of values, the decline of the father’s role as authority and manhood in the home, the possibility of controlling family girls, especially younger children. Their ideas depict individualism and loneliness, the dominance of western culture and the western way of life, and the tendency towards indigenous culture. At the end of the story, the narrator’s hope for the youth and the next generation is ambiguous because on one hand he hopes for the future but on the other he challenges the onslaught of modernity. The aim of the study is to explain and analyze the impact of modernity on traditional society in the form of a family symbol based on Peter Childs’ patterns.
