تغییرات راهبرد زبانی «خطاب» بر اساس نظریۀ ادب براون و لوینسون بین استادان و دانشجویان ایرانی: مطالعه موردی دانشگاه تهران

دنیای معاصر در نتیجۀ انقلاب دیجیتال، رشد فزایندۀ رسانه‌های ارتباط جمعی و پدیدۀ جهانی شدن، همواره در معرض تغییرات گوناگونی قرار گرفته که جوامع بشری را با چالش‏های تازه‏ای روبرو کرده است. ازطرفی، به دلیل ارتباط تنگاتنگ و ناگسستنی اجتماع و زبان، تغییرات اجتماعی به دلایل ذکرشده، در نهایت تغییرات زبانی گوناگون را هم به دنبال داشته است و چارچوب‏های فرهنگ سنتی حاکم بر بسیاری از زبان‏ها را درهم‏ ‏شکسته است. در پژوهش حاضر، با بررسی‏های میدانی، صورت‏‏های «خطاب» در چهار نوع کنش زبانی در محیط دانشگاه تهران، در چارچوب نظریۀ ادب براون و لوینسن (1987) مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. 200 استاد با ردۀ سنی 2969 سال به‌عنوان دانشجویان نسل قبل و 200 دانشجوی دورۀ کارشناسی دانشگاه تهران با ردۀ سنی 1825 سال به‌عنوان دانشجویان نسل حاضر، با توزیع پرسش‌نامه مخاطب این پژوهش بوده‏اند. نتایج به‌دست‌آمده نشانگر این است که در مقایسه با گذشته، در فضای نسبتاً رسمی دانشگاه، ادب مثبت به‏تدریج در حال افزایش و پیشی گرفتن از ادب منفی در کنش‏‏های زبانی خطاب است.

Changes in Addressing Strategies based on Brown and Levinson’s Politeness Theory among Iranian Lecturers & Students: Case Study of University of Tehran

As a consequence of the digital revolution, the growing of mass media, and the phenomenon of globalization, our contemporary world has been changing from various perspectives. Because of these changes, human society has been facing various new challenges. Due to close relations between society and language, social changes have always been a cause of various changes in language, and have had a significant influence on the traditional structure of many languages. Current research looks into the linguistic changes in contemporary Persian in connection with politeness elements by using Brown and Levinson’s politeness theory through field work. 200 professors, students of previous generation, in the 2969 age range, and  200 current undergraduate students at the University of Tehran, in the 1825 age range, were a target of our questionnaire for the Survey. The forms of addressing/naming in four types of linguistic performances at the University of Tehran have been investigated in this research. The results of the investigation showed clearly that in comparison with the past, positive politeness has been growing gradually, and has been passing negative politeness in students’ language strategies at the University of Tehran.
