   binder-free, symmetric and asymmetric sandwich supercapacitors based on laser-reduced graphene oxide and electrodeposited ni on a carbon fiber current collector

چکیده    Various fabrication methods along with many materials are extensively investigated to produce sustainable energy saving devices. supercapacitors play a key role in achieving this goal. their ability to store and release energy rapidly makes them highly attractive for development. in this study, we employed a simple, cost-effective method using both symmetric and asymmetric sandwich-type graphene-based supercapacitors incorporating ni particles as active material components to enhance energy-related properties. based on our results, laser reduced graphene oxide electrodes combined with ni coated carbon fiber electrodes improve the electrochemical performance of the fabricated supercapacitors. symmetric ni//ni cells exhibited a notable specific capacitance of 388 mf cm⁻² while the asymmetric lrgo//ni cells retained 86% of their initial capacitance after 500 cycles. the maximum energy density was 12.7, 14.1 and 37.0 μwh cm-2 for the assembled sc with lrgo//lrgo, lrgo//ni, and ni//ni flexible electrodes, respectively.
