چکیده    Cu(ii)-edta has been successfully synthesized using the solvothermal method and testes for antibacterial and anti-denv2 activities. cu(ii)-edta complex compounds are characterized by ftir, uv-vis, sem, dsc, and psa. the cu-(ii)-edta particle size was 6.91 nm with a pdi value of 0.0808. the morphology of a crystal is a cube with a rough and irregular surface. the cu(ii)-edta complex demonstrated notable activity against gram-negative bacteria (escherichia coli) and gram-positive bacteria (staphylococcus aureus) with a zone of 8.83 ± 1.30 and 12.06 ± 1.26 mm at a concentration of 250 mg/ml, respectively. furthermore, cytotoxicity against vero cell and anti-denv2 was observed with a cc50 of 415.44 μg/ml and ic50 of 270.98 μg/ml, suggesting their potential use as antibacterial against e. coli, s. aureus, and anti-denv2 agent.
