مقایسۀ وجه تسمیه‌ها در تاریخ سیستان و دیوان خاقانی

یکی از پرسش‌های جذاب برای انسان‌ها دلیل نام‌گذاری (وجه تسمیۀ) چیزهاست. در متون نظم و نثر فارسی تعدادی از نویسندگان و شعرا در خلال آثارشان، کلماتی را ریشه‌شناسی کرده و وجه تسمیۀ آن‎ها را - به زعمِ خود- نشان داده‌اند. بررسی و تحلیل و طبقه‌بندی این وجوه تسمیه، بیانگر نوع نگاه آنان به چگونگی ساخت کلمات است. در این مقاله برخی از این وجوه تسمیه که در تاریخ سیستان و دیوان خاقانی مندرج است، بررسی و مقایسه شده‌است. بدین منظور ابتدا به دسته ­بندی انواع وجه‌ تسمیه و ذکر شواهد مثال از کتب گوناگون پرداخته شد و سپس نمونه‌های وجه تسمیه از کتاب تاریخ سیستان و دیوان خاقانی استخراج و بررسی گردید. با بررسی نمونه‌ها، مشخص شد که مولف تاریخ سیستان در گزینش و بیان وجه تسمیه‌ها بیشتر به اشتقاق کلمات توجه داشته است و در مواردی هم به اعتقادات و باورهای عوام رجوع کرده است ولی خاقانی بیشتر به بازی‌های شاعرانه با کلمات پرداخته و وجه تسمیه‌هایی ابداعی ارائه داده است. البته او هم به وجه تسمیه‌هایی که در کتب دیگر آمده توجه داشته است. این مقاله به روش توصیفی- تحلیلی نوشته شده‌است و گردآوری داده‌ها به شیوۀ کتابخانه‌ای است. هرچند مقالات متعددی دربارۀ وجه تسمیه چاپ شده، اما تاکنون مقالۀ مستقلی دربارۀ مقایسۀ گزینش وجه تسمیه در تاریخ سیستان و دیوان خاقانی منتشرنشده‌است.

comparison of appellations in the ’’history of sistan’’ & “poems of khaghani”

one of the most interesting questions for humans is the reason for naming things (the appellation). in the texts of persian poetry and prose, some writers and poets, in the course of their works, etymologized some words and define their appellation(the reason of naming). studying, analyzing, and classifying these appellations, indicates the way they look at the construction of words. in this article, some of these appellations that are included in the ’’history of sistan’’ and &divan-e-khaghani& are examined and compared. for this purpose, we categorized the types of the appellation and mentioned the evidence from different books. then we extracted and examined the examples of the appellation from the ’’history of sistan’’ and &divan-e-khaghani&. by examining the samples, it was found that the author of the ’’history of sistan’’ has paid more attention to the etymology of words in expressing the appellation, and in some cases, he has referred to the folklore but khaghani has paid more attention to poetic games with words and offers innovative appellation. of course, he has also paid attention to the appellation mentioned in other books. this article has been written in a descriptive-analytical way and the data has been collected in the library method. although several articles have been published on the subject of the ’’appellation’’ but so far no independent article has been published on the subject of ’’appellation in the history of sistan’’.
