بررسی «گرمابه» به عنوان آستانۀ گذر در حکایت «پسر بازرگان و شهر خاموشان» هشت بهشت امیر خسرو

راویان افسانه های عامیانه برای رازآلود کردن حکایت های خود، نیاز به فضاهای ناشناخته و مرموز دارند. فضایی که بتواند قهرمان را از دنیای واقعی، جدا ساخته به دنیایی جادویی و اساطیری روانه کند که از این فضا به آستانۀ گذر تعبیر می شود. بدون تردید یکی از به ترین مکان ها برای درگیر ساختن قهرمان با موضوعات و مسائل ناشناخته، گرمابه ها می باشند. شناخت و تحلیل این فضای راز آلود، شرط اساسی رمزگشایی افسانه ها و دست یافتن به پیام پنهان در آنهاست. یکی از ابزارهای کار آمد برای رمز گشایی این دست از افسانه ها، نظریّۀ «تک اسطورۀ سفر قهرمان» جوزف کمبل (campbell, joseph)، می باشد. هدف اصلی این نوشته، تاکید بر اهمیّت گرمابه به عنوان آستانۀ گذار است. در این پژوهش، گرمابه به عنوان آستانۀ گذر در حکایت «پسر بازرگان روم و شهر خاموشان»، اثر امیر خسرو دهلوی، تحلیل شده است. نتیجۀ بررسی نشان می دهد، امیر خسرو در استفاده از فضای رازآلود گرمابه به عنوان آستانۀ گذر و همچنین تطبیق آن با مناسک گذر و بخش های سه گانۀ گرمابه های سنّتی بسیار هوشمندانه و موفّق عمل کرده است.

the narrators of common myths need unknown and strange atmosphere to color their narrations with secrets. this atmosphere can isolate the hero from the real world and joins him to a magical and mythical world which is known as the threshold passage. undoubtedly one of the best places to include the heroes in unknown issues and topics is the bathroom (garmabeh). the understanding and analysis of such a secret atmosphere is the basic precondition to reveal the myths and to achieve their hidden messages. one of the very useful tools to reveal such issues in myths is the theory of “a single hero journey” posed by joseph campbell. the major goal of the present study is to emphasize on the importance of “garmabeh” as the threshold passage time. in this research, “garmabeh” in the story called “the son of the merchant and the city of voiceless people” written by amir khosro dehlavi has been analyzed as the threshold passage. the results showed that amir khosro has acted very cleverly and successfully in using the secret atmosphere of garmabeh as the threshold passage and also the comparison of it with pass rituals and triple sections of the traditional bathrooms.
