پاسخ به برخی ملاحظات ایمنی زیستی گیاهان تراریخته

مهندسی ژنتیک گیاهی سریعترین فناوری پذیرفته شده در تاریخ بشر برای دستیابی به برتری های کیفی و کمی توسط کشاورزان بوده است. این فناوری مزایای واقعی برای محیط زیست و معیشت زارعین در برداشته و دارد. متاسفانه علی رغم مطالعات علمی معتبر و متعدد در مورد ایمن بودن محصولات تراریخته برای مصرف کننده و محیط زیست، هنوز این فناوری با ادعاهای گمراه کننده ای از سوی برخی افراد مواجه می شود. نتایج یک پژوهش جامع بر روی مقالات منتشر شده در مجلات معتبر علمی نشان می دهد که کشت و کار گیاهان تراریخته باعث کاهش مصرف آفت کش ها به میزان 37 درصد، افزایش عملکرد گیاه به میزان 22 درصد و افزایش درآمد کشاورزان تا 68 درصد شده است. با توجه به جدید بودن هدف توسعه و کشت گیاهان تراریخته در کشور لازم است به برخی پرسش هایی که از جانب مسئولان، کشاورزان، مصرف کنندگان، رسانه ها و سایر افراد در مورد جنبه های مختلف ایمنی محصولات تراریخته در سطح جامعه مطرح می شود پاسخ هایی مختصر و ساده ارائه شود. از این رو در این مقاله به 20 پرسش مهم در مورد محصولات تراریخته پاسخ داده می شود.

Response to Some Biosafety Concerns of Transgenic Plants

Plant genetic engineering has been the fastest technology adopted in human history to achieve quantitative and qualitative superiority by farmers. This technology has real benefits to the environment and the livelihood of farmers. Unfortunately, despite numerous credible scientific studies on the safety of GM products for the consumer and the environment, this technology still faces misleading claims by some. The results of a comprehensive study of articles published in the authoritative scientific journals show that the transgenic plant cultivation reduced pesticide use by 37%, increased yield by 22% and increased farmerschr('39') income by 68%. Given the new purpose of development and cultivation of transgenic plants in the country, it is necessary to answer some questions raised by officials, farmers, consumers, media and others on various aspects of transgenic crop safety at the community level.
