شرح و تصحیح «چهار مقاله» در بوته‌ی نقد

کتاب «چهارمقاله» حجم کمی دارد؛ ولی به‌دلیل قدرت‌نمایی نویسنده‌ی آن در حیطه‌ی دو سبک نثر مرسل و نثر فنی ازلحاظ ادبی بسیار باارزش است. افزون‌براین، اطلاعات باارزشی که این کتاب از چهار حرفه‌ی دبیری، شاعری، منجمی و طبابت به‌دست می‌دهد، بر ارزش‌ این کتاب افزوده است. همچنین این کتاب ازجهاتی نوعی تذکره نیز به‌حساب می‌آید و این ویژگی کم‌نظیر آن را نباید ازنظر دور داشت. لذا تردیدی نیست که دریافت و فهم زیبایی‌های متن این گنجینه‌ی ادبی و بهره‌مندی از آن، وابسته‌به درک صورت و معنای صحیح متن آن است. ازآنجاکه پس‌از تصحیح عالمانه‌ی کتاب «چهار مقاله» توسط علامه محمد قزوینی، تنها استاد محمد معین، اقدام به شرح این اثر باارزش کرده‌اند و درضمن شرح این کتاب، پیشنهادهایی را درخصوص تصحیح مجدد برخی از واژگان آن بیان کردند، لذا در این جستار کوشش شده است برخی از کاستی‌های این شرح موجود نشان داده شود و درادامه نیز پیشنهاد دکتر معین مبنی‌بر تصحیح مجدد برخی از واژگان این کتاب، به بوته‌ی نقد کشیده شود و تلاش شده است که باتکیه‌بر متن «چهار مقاله» و قراین دورن‌متنی و برون‌متنی و همچنین دیگر منابع مرتبط، معنایی صحیح‌تر و تصحیحی سازوارتر ارائه گردد.

A Critique of the Description and Emendation of the “Four Discourses”

Although the book Four Discourses is compact, it is a literally valuable work due to its authorʼs power in the two literary styles of simple prose and technical prose. In addition, the worthwhile information provided by this book about four professions of secretaryship, poetics, astronomy, and iatrology has added to the value of this book. Moreover, it is somehow considered a memorandum which should not be neglected. So, there is no doubt that understanding the beauties of the text of this literary treasure and enjoying it is dependent on the correct understanding of form and meaning of its text. Since after the wise emendation of the book Four Discourses by Allameh Mohammad Ghazvini, only professor Mohammad Moin has described this valuable work, and along with the description, he also has made some suggestions on the recorrection of some of its vocabularies; therefore, in this essay, it is tried to indicate some of the shortcomings of this single exposition. Subsequently, Moinʼs suggestions have been critically to present a more suitable and correct interpretation according to the text of the Four Discourses based on the intext and outtext evidence as well as regarding the other related sources.
