مروری بر پژوهش‌های زبان‌شناسی جنسیت

زبان‌شناسی جنسیت یکی از شاخه‌های موردتوجه در حوزۀ جامعه‌شناسی زبان‌ است که به مطالعۀ تاثیر متغیر جنسیت بر ایجاد گوناگونی‌های زبانی می‌پردازد. از آنجا که بیشتر مفاهیم اجتماعی‌فرهنگی و ازجمله مفهوم جنسیت، مفاهیمی چندبعدی‌ هستند، برداشت‌های تک‌بعدی و مطلق از این مفاهیم منجر به ‌نوعی سطحی‌نگری به‌ویژه در حوزه‌های پژوهشی می‌شود. در این مقاله ابتدا به بیان نظریات دو چهرۀ برجسته در این حوزه می‌پردازیم (رابین لیکاف 1975 و دبورا تانن 1990) و سپس می‌کوشیم با کنکاشی در جدیدترین پژوهش‌های صورت‌گرفته (2008تا2016) وضعیت این رشتۀ مطالعاتی را روشن نماییم. نتیجۀ این بررسی نشانگر این امر است که پژوهشگران حوزۀ زبان‌شناسی کاربردی بیش از دیگران علاقه‌مند به بررسی تاثیر و نقش جنسیت در زبان بوده‌اند و این تاثیر را به‌ویژه درزمینۀ آموزش زبان دوم موردتوجه قرار داده‌اند؛ اما این حوزۀ مطالعاتی نقیصه‌های متعددی‌ دارد که مهم‎‌ترین آن‌ها نادیده‌انگاشتن نظریه‌های جنسیتی‌ مطرح است.

A review on gender linguistics studies

Gender linguistics is a cynosure branch within the framework of language sociology and it deals with the effect that the gender, as a variable, has on the creation of lingual diversities. Because a great many of the socialcultural concepts, including gender, are multifaceted, onedimensional and absolute perceptions of such concepts lead to some sort of superficiality, particularly in research areas. The present article, firstly, deals with the presentation of the notions opined by two prominent figures of the field, namely Robin Lakoff, 1975 and Deborah Tannen, 1990. Then, it is attempted, through a probe into the most recent studies carried out in the years from 2008 to 2016, to elaborate more on this study field. The results of the study are indicative of the idea that the applied linguistics researchers are more interested, than the others, in the survey of the gender effect and role in language and this effect has been, especially, evaluated regarding the second language learning but this field of study is found with numerous shortcomings the most important of which is the negligence of the propounded genderrelated theories.
