اثر آزادسازی تجاری بر نرخ مرگ‌ومیر در استان‌های ایران: هم‌انباشتگی پانلی با وابستگی مقطعی

یکی از چالش‌های اساسی در حوز‌ه‌ سلامت، موضوع تجارت سلامت و پاسخ به این سوال است که آیا آزادسازی تجاری برای بخش سلامت مفید است یا نه؟ بر این اساس، تحقیق حاضر با استفاده از داده‌های پانل استان‌های ایران طی دوره‌ زمانی 91-1381، به بررسی ارتباط بین آزادسازی تجاری و نرخ مرگ‌ومیر (به‌عنوان یک شاخص اساسی از سلامت) پرداخته، و به این منظور، از تحلیل‌های هم‌انباشتگی پانلی با وابستگی مقطعی و برآوردگر به‌ روزرسانی مکرر و کاملاً تعدیل شده (cup-fm) استفاده شده، و نتایج حاصل از برآورد مدل نشان می‌دهد که آزادسازی تجاری اثر منفی و معناداری بر نرخ مرگ‌ومیر در استان‌های کشور داشته است. همچنین، نتایج نشان از آن دارد که تعامل میان آزادسازی تجاری و درآمد سرانه، مثبت و معنادار است و بیانگر این حقیقت که بخشی از اثر کاهنده آزادسازی تجاری بر نرخ مرگ‌ومیر در استان‌های ایران، با افزایش درآمد سرانه، کاهش می‌یابد.

The Effects of Trade Liberalization on the Mortality Rate in Provinces of Iran: Panel CoIntegration with CrossSection Dependence

One of the main challenges in health sector is the health business and an answer to the question of whether trade liberalization is beneficial for health. Accordingly, the present study examines the relationship between trade liberalization and mortality rate (as a basic indicator of health) using panel data of the provinces of Iran over the period 20022012. For this purpose, this study uses a panel cointegration analysis with crosssection dependence and continuouslyupdated and fullymodified (CupFM) estimator. The results show that trade liberalization has a negative and significant effect on the mortality rate in the provinces of Iran. In addition, the interaction between trade liberalization and per capita income is of positive sign and statistically significance. The finding indicates the mitigation of a part of decreasing effect of trade liberalization on mortality rate in this case study
