صوری‌سازی رابطه مفهومی شمول معنایی در سطح واژه از منظر زبان‌شناسی ریاضی

در پژوهش حاضر، تلاش بر آن بوده تا امکان صوری‌سازی رابطۀ مفهومی شمول معنایی در بین واژه‌ها بررسی شود. به این منظور، ابزارهایی از نظریۀ مجموعه‌ها، تابع ریاضی و برخی مفاهیم جبری به کار گرفته شده است. برای مطالعۀ امکان صوری‌سازی این رابطۀ مفهومی، ابتدا تعریف‌هایی که از شمول معنایی در فرهنگ‌های تخصصی زبان‌شناسی و درس‌نامه‌های معتبر معنی‌شناسی به دست داده شده، معرفی و مطالعه شده است. با مطالعۀ این تعریف‌ها، امکان تدقیق رابطۀ مفهومی شمول معنایی فراهم شده؛ به‌این‌ترتیب که شمول معنایی برحسب زمان و نوع (و هر دو) برای صوری‌سازی در نظر گرفته شده است. در ادامه، با استفاده از ابزارهای ریاضی که عمدتاً برگرفته از نظریۀ مجموعه‌ها هستند، برگردان صوری برای رابطۀ مفهومی موردبحث به دست داده شده است. در پایان، صحت و طرز کار رابطه صوری پیشنهادشده با مثال‌هایی از زبان فارسی مورد آزمون قرار گرفت و نشان داده شد که رابطۀ صوری متناظر با شمول معنایی در سطح واژه در چارچوب زبان فارسی کارآمد است.

formalizing the sense relation of hyponymy from logical point of view, a study of mathematical linguistics in farsi

the present paper aimed at discussing the possibility of formalizing the sense relation of hyponymy. in order to do so, the research applied mathematical tools borrowed from set theory and algebra. firstly, it went over the definitions of the sense relation in question presented in linguistic dictionaries and also semantics’ text books. the definitions show that hyponymy between two words might be based on type, time or both. that is an important feature of hyponymy which the present research takes into account while trying to introduce a formal translation. next, the paper presented a formal expression corresponding the sense relation of hyponymy, mostly using the fundamental concepts from set theory such a subset, conjunction, disjunction, etc. finally, the efficiency and correctness of the introduced formal translations were examined using some examples of natural language which is farsi in this case. the expression proved to be consistent with what we expect according to the way hyponymy works in natural language.
