ارتباط اتخاذ دیدگاه با دوزبانگی و جنسیت

هدف از پژوهش حاضر، بررسی ارتباط اتخاذ دیدگاه با دوزبانگی و نیز مطالعه‌ تفاوت های جنسیتی در اتخاذ دیدگاه است. تعداد 100 نفر دوزبانه و 100 نفر یک‏زبانه‌ متناظر (از نظر سن، جنسیت و سطح اجتماعی) به صورت داوطلبانه در این پژوهش شرکت کردند. تشخیص دوزبانگی یا یک زبانگی افراد با استفاده از برگه‌ خودارزیابی زبان صورت گرفت. برای جمع‏آوری داده ها، ترجمه‌ فارسی بخش اتخاذ دیدگاه از پرسشنامه‌ شاخص واکنش بین فردی (davis, 1983) شامل سوالاتی از نوع لیکرت با امتیاز مثبت و منفی مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. برای مقایسه‌ اتخاذ دیدگاه گروه یک زبانه و گروه دوزبانه و همچنین، برای مقایسه‌ تفاوت های جنسیتی در اتخاذ دیدگاه، از دو آزمون تی به صورت جداگانه استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد که اتخاذ دیدگاه در گروه دوزبانه بالاتر از گروه یک زبانه و میان زنان بالاتر از مردان است.

The Relationships between Perspective Taking, Bilingualism, and Gender

The aim of the present study was twofold. First, it intended to investigate the relationship between perspective taking and bilingualism; second, it studied gender differences in perspective taking. To do so, a total of 100 balanced bilinguals and their 100 matching monolinguals (based on age, gender, and socioeconomic status) were selected. The participants completed a selfassessment sheet which could help the researchers to label them as bilinguals or monolinguals. A Persian translation of the Perspective Taking section of the Interpersonal Reactivity Index by Davis (1983) was administered. The questionnaire consisted of Likerttype questions which had positive and negative scores. Two independentsamples ttests were run to compare the perspective taking of monolinguals to that of the bilinguals and to examine whether there is a difference between the female and male participants’ perspective taking. The results of the first ttest indicated that the bilinguals had higher perspective taking than the monolinguals. Furthermore, the second ttest showed that the female participants outperformed the male participants in perspective taking.
