نقش زبان‏شناسی دینی در «فلسفه دین» جان هیک

فلسفه دین از علوم جدید در حوزه معرفت‏شناسی است. مبحث زبان دین به عنوان یکی از شاخه‌های مهم این علم از جایگاه ویژه‌ای برخوردار می‌باشد. یکی از فیلسوفان دین در قرن اخیر جان هیک است. وی با مبنا قرار دادن نظریه «بازی زبانی» ویگتنشتاین و وضع تعبیر کلی «تجربه آنگونه» و تسری آن به تمامی حوزه‏های رفتاری و تجارب دینی به پلورالیسم دینی قائل شده است. در واقع، هیک حد و مرز زبان و اندیشه را که متخذ از ویگتنشتاین و کانت بود، اساس فلسفه دین خود قرار داد. نتائج مهم بدست آمده از روش و مبانی جان هیک و تسری آن به تمامی حوزه‌ها، تحقیق و پژوهش پیرامون آن را ضروری می‏سازد. از اینرو، نگاشته حاضر برای نخستین بار با روش کتابخانه‏ای به بررسی و نقدِ مبانی روش فلسفه دین جان هیک و نقش زبان‏شناسی در معرفت های حاصل شده پرداخته است. دستاورد این تتبع، وجود سطحی‏نگری در زبان‏شناسی  و عدم باور داشتن به تعین معنا در علوم غیر تجربی است.

The Role of Religious Linguistics in John Hick’s “Philosophy of Religion”

Philosophy of religion is a new area of study in the field of epistemology. The topic of the language of religion, as one of the important branches of this science, is of particular importance. One of the current prominent philosophers of religion is John Hick. He extends Wiganstein’s “linguistic game” theory and the general interpretation of the “experience of the kind” to all areas of behavior and religious experiences to arrive at religious pluralism. In fact, Hick based his philosophy of religion on the language and thought boundaries of Wigtenstein and Kant. The important results obtained from John Hick’s method and principles and its extension to all domains makes research on it indispensable. Therefore, the present research study sought to explore and criticize the principles of John Hick’s philosophy of religion and the role of linguistics in the knowledge obtained. The key findings of the study are the existence of a superficial look in linguistics and the lack of belief in the definition of meaning in nonexperimental sciences.
