بررسی زیرساخت ها و عملکرد فرهنگی دانشگاههای علوم پزشکی کشور

زمینه و اهداف : در سالیان اخیر نقش و جایگاه دانشگاه ها در گسترش و آموزش فرهنگ مورد توجه جدی قرار گرفته است. با این وجود دانشگاههای کشور ما هنوز راهی نسبتاً طولانی تا رسیدن به آرمان های مطلوب و ارتقای بهینه عملکرد در این عرصه پیش رو دارند. بر این اساس، مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی زیرساخت ها و عملکرد فرهنگی دانشگاه های علوم پزشکی کشور در سال93 به مورد اجرا درآمد.   مواد و روشها : پژوهش حاضر از نوع توصیفی مقطعی می باشد که با استفاده از یک پرسشنامه محقق ساخته که روایی صوری و محتوایی پرسشنامه با نظر صاحب نظران فرهنگی و با محاسبه شاخص های مربوطه مورد تایید قرار گرفت، انجام شد. در ادامه، مطالعه با پاسخگویی مسئولین امور فرهنگی دانشگاه های علوم پزشکی کشور به صورت تمام شماری به مورد اجرا در آمد. داده های به دست آمده به صورت توصیفی مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت و نتایج به دست آمده برای متغیرهای کیفی به صورت فراوانی (درصد) و برای متغیرهای کمی به صورت میانگین (انحراف معیار) گزارش شد. یافته ها : نتایج مطالعه حاضر در چهار حوزه وضعیت عمومی دانشگاه های مورد بررسی از منظر فرهنگی، وضعیت امکانات معاونت فرهنگی دانشگاه ها، وضعیت عملکرد تشکّل ها، کانونها و نشریات و نیز وضعیت عملکرد مدیریت امور فرهنگی دانشگاهها گزارش گردید.یافته ها حاکی از آن است که در رابطه با هر یک از حوزه های مورد بررسی، علی رغم وجود نقاط قوت در بسیاری موارد، نقاط ضعف قابل توجهی مشهود می باشند. البته نتایج مطالعه حاضر صرفاً بر کمیت عملکردها متمرکز بود و بررسی کیفیت انجام هر یک از فعالیت ها و فرایندها نیازمند توجه ویژه و انجام بررسی ها و مداخلات آتی می باشد.  بحث و نتیجه گیری : پژوهشگران امیدوارند که مسئولین و برنامه ریزان امر با استفاده از نتایج مطالعه حاضر و نیز انجام مطالعات تکمیلی مشابه به ویژه در زمینه کیفیت عملکردهای فرهنگی دانشگاه ها، گامی اساسی در جهت اعتلای جایگاه دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی در ارتقای جایگاه فرهنگ ایرانی اسلامی بردارند.

A Survey of Cultural Infrastructure and Performance in Medical Sciences Universities of Iran

​Background and objectives: Recently, the role of universities in developing and education of culture is considered increasingly but Iranian universities have great distance in achieving the desired objectives in this context. So, this study aimed to survey the cultural infrastructure and performance in medical sciences universities of Iran. Material and Methods: This is a crosssectional study that was done using researchermade checklist which its face and content validity were approved by the cultural experts' opinion via statistical indicators. The study was conducted in census method by responses of 25 managers of cultural affairs in medical sciences universities of Iran. The obtained data were analyzed descriptively and results were reported as frequency (percentages) for qualitative and mean (standard deviation) for quantitative variable. Results: The study results were presented in four areas: “the general status of universities in cultural affairs”, “cultural facilities of the universities”, “the activity of cultural organizations and publications in universities” and “performance of cultural deputies”. The results showed that although there are considerable strengths, the significant weaknesses are evident in all areas. The results of the present study were focused solely on the quantity of functions, and quality evaluation of each activity requires special attention and further investigations and interventions. Conclusion: Researchers hope that the authorities and planners use the results of this study and similar studies especially in quality of cultural practices of universities and move towards improving the status of culture in medical sciences universities in developing IranianIslamic culture.
