فلسفه‌ و مفهوم نبردِ مقدس در بهگودگیتا از دیدگاه ابوالاعلی مودودی

در آغاز قرن بیستم، جامعه‌ی شبه‌ قاره هند دچار سیاست‌زدگی در نحوه‌ی استدلالات دینی بود. این امر منجر به ظهور جنبش‌های جهادی و افراطی میان مسلمانان و هندوان در این منطقه گردید. از مهمترین عناصری که در این جنبش‌ها مورد توجه قرار گرفت، مفهوم جهاد یا نبرد مقدس است. ابوالاعلی مودودی از جمله اندیشمندان مسلمان بود که در دفاع از اسلام و علیه هندوئیسم به تحریر کتاب «الجهاد فی الاسلام» با محوریت نبرد مقدس پرداخت. وی بخش‌هایی از کتاب را به فلسفه نبرد در متون هندویی مانند کتاب بهگودگیتا  اختصاص داد. در پژوهش حاضر، این سوال مطرح است که مودودی، فلسفه نبرد مقدس در بهگودگیتا را چگونه ارزیابی کرده است. با استفاده از فرضیه ی نبرد عادلانه و روش توصیفی-تحلیلی به این مدعا پرداخته شده است که خوانش مودودی در تفسیر فلسفه و مفهوم نبرد مقدس در بهگودگیتا تنها با تکیه بر مفهوم تناسخ در آیین هندو بوده و بر این اساس به این نتیجه رسیده که بهگودگیتا در تشریح نبرد مقدس به اباحی گری کشیده شده است. این پژوهش به این دستاورد دست یافته که فلسفه و مفهوم نبرد مقدس در متن بهگودگیتا به منظور عبور طبقه کشاتریا از سنن اجتماعی به سوی قوانین و سنن الهی بوده است.

philosophy and concept of the holy battle in the bhagavad gita from abul a'la maududi’s perspective

at the beginning of the 20th century, the indian subcontinent was politicized by religious arguments. this led to the emergence of jihadist and radical movements among muslims and hindus. one of the most important elements of these movements is the concept of jihad or holy war. abul a'la maududi was among the muslim thinkers who wrote the book al-jihad in islam in defense of islam and against hinduism, focusing on the holy war. he dedicated parts of the book to the philosophy of war in hindu texts such as the bhagavad gita. therefore, this question arises as to how maududi evaluated the philosophy of holy war in the bhagavad gita. using the just war hypothesis and the descriptive-analytical method, it has been argued that maududi's interpretation of the philosophy and concept of holy war in the bhagavad gita was based solely on the concept of reincarnation in hinduism, and on this basis, it was concluded that the bhagavad gita has been drawn into apocalypticism in its description of holy war. this research found that the philosophy and concept of the holy battle in the bhagavad gita aimed to move the kshatriya class from social traditions to divine laws and traditions.
