تبیین و تحلیل تاثیر موقعیت جغرافیایی بر عملکرد نظامی حکومت ساسانی

ساسانیان یکی از سلسله‌های مهمی بودند که در فلات ایران به قدرت رسیدند. این حکومت به‌واسطۀ شرایط، موقعیت و وسعت جغرافیایی سرزمین خود نمی‌توانست یا به‌نوعی امکان نداشت که تحت تاثیر محیطی که در آن قرار گرفته بود، واقع نشود. موقعیت جغرافیایی در بروز جنگ‌های گسترده و طولانی که ساسانیان در مدت فرمانروایی خود، چه در جبهه دفاعی و چه در حمله‌ها و عملیات‌های نظامی که در اکناف و اطراف سرزمین خود انجام داده‌اند، تاثیر مهمی داشته است. سوال این پژوهش این است که موقعیت جغرافیایی در فعالیت‌های نظامی و راهکارهای دفاعی ساسانیان چه تاثیری داشته است؟ یافته‌های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که ساسانیان در این سرزمین و موقعیت جغرافیایی حساس فعالیت‌های نظامی خود را با ویژگی‌های ژئوپلیتیکی و استراتژیکی سرزمین خود تطبیق ‌دادند و فعالیت‌های نظامی آنان متاثر از موقعیت جغرافیایی فلات ایران واقع می‌شد. وجود استحکامات طویل نظامی در شرق، شمال شرق، جنوب غرب و همچنین تقسیمات نظامی که ساسانیان انجام دادند متاثر از موقعیت جغرافیایی آنان بوده است. روش این پژوهش به‌صورت توصیفی – تحلیلی است و داده‌های این پژوهش نیز به‌صورت مطالعات کتابخانه‌ای گردآوری‌شده است.

explaining and analyzing the effect of geographical position on military performance of sasanian rule

the sasanians were one of the important dynasties that gained power in the iranian plateau. given the geographical conditions and location, as well as their vast territory, it was impossible for this government not to be influenced by its environment. geographical position was effective in the outburst of military operations of the sasanians and their defensive and offensive battles in different internal and surrounding regions and during the period of their rule. this research concerned the effect the geographical position had on the military actions and defensive tactics of the sasanians. the results of this descriptive-analytical research that collected data using library sources show that the sasanians coordinated their military actions with the specific geopolitical and strategic situation of their territory, and their military actions were influenced by the geographical location of the iranian plateau. the establishment of long military fortifications in the eastern, northeastern, and southwestern regions along with the military divisions made by the sasanians, all were influenced by their geographical position.
