بررسی تاثیر تغییرات جغرافیایی بر تحولات نظامی ایران عصر غزنوی-سلجوقی با تکیه‌بر حوادث جوی

چکیدهجغرافیا به‌عنوان بستر تحولات و تاریخ به‌عنوان زمان آن از دیرباز با هم تعامل دو‌سویه داشته و به‌عنوان مکملی در سیر تحولات تاریخی مطرح بوده‌اند. اگر جنگ را به‌عنوان یک عامل تعیین‌کننده در سیر تحولات بشری بدانیم، عامل جغرافیا بدان جهت که سهمی بسزا در سرنوشت جنگ‌ها داشته اند، شایسته توجه است. در همین راستا از مهم‌ترین عوامل تاثیرگذار جغرافیایی در نبردها، تغییرات جوی بوده است. تحولات جوی بر روی زمانِ وقوع، نوع سازماندهی قوا، فرآیند و از همه مهم‌تر بر نتیجه برخی از نبردها اثر می‌نهاد؛ بنابراین هرگونه پژوهشی بدون توجه به نقش جغرافیا در پیروزی ها و شکست ها ناکافی و نارسا خواهد بود. لذا پژوهش حاضر با روش توصیفی–تحلیلی در پی پاسخ به این پرسش بنیادین است که حوادث جوی چه تاثیری بر تحولات نظامی ایران عصر غزنویسلجوقی داشته است؟ یافته‌های پژوهش حکایت از آن دارد که تاثیر حوادث جوی بر تحولات نظامی ایران و سرنوشت جنگ‌های عصر غزنوی و سلجوقی نقشی تعیین‌کننده داشته که از مهم‌ترین آنها می‌توان به مواردی چون: تاثیر آب‌وهوا بر کارکرد تسلیحات و قوای جنگی، نقش برف و سرما در تلفات نیروها و تغییر در سیاست جنگی، تاثیر گرمای هوا و تشنگی در تحلیل قوای سپاهیان، تاثیرات نظامی باران و سیل در زمین گیر شدن لشگریان و کارکرد پدیده‌های جوی در بازتولید خرافات و...اشاره کرد.

Investigating the Impact of Geographical Changes on Military Developments in Ghaznavid-Seljuk Iran Relying on Atmospheric Events

AbstractGeography as the place of developments and history as its time have reciprocally interacted with each other and have been considered as a complement to each other in the course of historical developments. If we deem war as a determining factor in the course of human evolution, the factor of geography deserves attention because it has played a significant role in the fate of wars. In this regard, one of the most influential geographical factors in battles has been climate change. Atmospheric developments affect the time of events, the way of organizing forces, the process of battles and most importantly, the outcome of some of them. Consequently, conducting any research regardless of the role of geography in victories and defeats will be insufficient. Therefore, the present descriptiveanalytical study aimed to give insight into the impact of atmospheric events on the military developments in the Ghaznavid and Seljuk era. The findings indicate that atmospheric developments have played a decisive role in the fate of the Ghaznavid and Seljuk wars. This role is manifested in the effect of climate on the performance of weapons and combat forces, the role of snow and cold in casualties of forces and changes in war tactics, the effect of hot and thirst in the power losses of the troops, the military effects of rain and flood in the crippling of the troops and the function of atmospheric phenomena in the reproduction of superstitions
