بررسی و تحلیل تاثیر جنگ جهانی اول (1914م./ 1332ق.) بر تولید و تجارت فرش ایران

با احیاء تولید و تجارت فرش ایران در نیمه دوم قرن 19م./ 13ق.، سرمایه داخلی و خارجی در این رشته تولیدی به کار افتاده، منجر به سرمایه‌گذاری تجار و شرکت‌های داخلی و خارجی در صنعت فرش کشور گردید. با گسترش این سرمایه‌گذاری ها و ایجاد کارگاه های قالی بافی در اواخر قرن مذکور و اوایل سده 20م./ 14ق.، نه تنها تولید فرش از رونق برخوردار گردید، بلکه تجارت این کالا نیز رشد قابل توجهی پیدا کرده، جنبه جهانی یافت. این روند علیرغم وقوع جنگ جهانی اول (1914-1918م./ 1332-1336ق.) و نوسانات حاصله، تا اواخر دوره قاجار ادامه یافت. جستار حاضر با هدف بررسی وضعیت تولید و تجارت فرش ایران همزمان با جنگ جهانی اول، در نظر دارد با روش توصیفیتحلیلی و بر اساس مستندات موجود، به این پرسش پاسخ بدهد که وقوع جنگ جهانی اول، چه تاثیری بر تولید و تجارت فرش کشور داشته است؟ یافته های پژوهش نشان می دهد، با آغاز جنگ و ناامنی‌های حاصل، علاوه بر آن که‌ فعالیت تولیدی شرکت‌های سرمایه‌گذار تعطیل گردیده، تولید فرش در داخل کاهش یافت، با مسدود شدن راه‌های تجاری بین‌المللی و بروز مشکلات در صادرات فرش به خارج از کشور، همچنین آشفتگی اوضاع اقتصادی کشورهای واردکننده فرش و کسادی بازارهای فرش، صادرات این کالا نیز بسیار تنزل یافت.

Investigating the Impacts of First World War (1914/ 1332) on the Production and Trade of Iranian Carpet

With the revival of the production and trade of Persian carpet in the second half of the 19th century, domestic and foreign capital used in this productive field, led to investment by local and foreign merchants and companies in the carpet industry of the country. With the expansion of these investments and the creation of carpetweaving workshops in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, not only did carpet production enjoyed a boost, but its business also globally flourished. Despite World War 1 (19141918s/ 13321336AH) and the resulting fluctuations, this trend continued until late Qajar era. The present descriptiveanalytic study, using the available documents, aimed to investigate the production and trade of carpet during World War I, and to answer this question that what impacts this war has had on the country’s carpet production and trade. The research findings show that with the onset of the war and the resultant insecurities, besides the closing down of the productive activities of the investment companies, carpet production decreased internally. In addition, with the blocking of international trade routes and the emergence of problems in exporting carpets abroad, as well as the economic turmoil in carpet importing countries and the downturn in carpet markets, exports of carpet also greatly diminished.
