mass investigation on intestinal parasite infection in masjed soleyman, iran, 2010-2017: a large population survey

Background and aims: globally, intestinal parasitic infections are a significant risk to human health. these infections may cause many health problems for humans, such as reduced growth, especially in children. this study, epidemiologically, aims to investigate the prevalence of intestinal parasitic infections which are collected from three medical centers in the city of masjed soleyman located in the southwest of iran from 2010 to 2017.materials and methods: in this retrospective study, documented data of three medical center rsquo;s laboratories in masjed soleyman were collected through the years 2010 to 2017. in these medical centers, conventional parasitology methods such as direct observation are employed for detection, and other techniques have been practiced in required cases.results: out of 45829 patients, 9.7% of the patients were infected by the intestinal parasites. statistical analysis has revealed that there is a significant relationship between the rate of infection and sex and season. conclusions: considering the obtained data, the incidence of protozoan parasites is more than worm infections. despite increased levels of public health, parasitic infections that are transmitted directly are still found in the community. the air temperature, sex, environmental pollution, and lifestyle are effective factors in increasing or decreasing these infections.

بررسی آلودگی به عفونت های انگلی روده ای در شهرستان مسجد سلیمان در سال های 95-1388. یک مطالعه بزرگ جمعیتی

هدف: آلودگی به انگل های روده ای یکی از عواملی است که در تمام جهان سلامت انسان ها را مورد تهدید قرار میدهد. در این مطالعه میزان آلودگی به انگل های روده ای در یک دوره 7 ساله در مراجعه کنندگان به 3 بیمارستان مسجد سلیمان مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است.روش کار: در این مطالعه گذشته نگر اطلاعات ثبت شده در دفاتر آزمایشگاه 3 بیمارستان شهرستان مسجد سلیمان از سال 1398 تا 1396 استخراج شد. این اطلاعات وارد نرم افزار آماری spss شد و با استفاده از آزمون های آمار توصیفی و آزمون مربع کای با سطح معنا داری 0.05 مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند.نتایج: از 45829 بیمار که در این دوره زمانی جهت انجام آزمایش انگل شناسی به این مراکز درمانی مراجعه کرده بودند 9.7درصد آلوده به انگل های روده بودند. در بررسی آماری اطلاعات بدست آمده مشخص شد رابطه معنا داری بین آلودگی به انگل های روده ای و جنسیت وجود دارد.نتیجه گیری: براساس اطلاعات به دست آمده بیشترین میزان آلودگی های انگلی مربوط به تکیاخته هایی بوده است که انتقال آنها به طور مستقیم انجام می شود. علی رغم بالا رفتن سطح بهداشت در جامعه به نظر میرسد که باید همچنان به اقدامات کنترلی جهت پیشگیری انگل های روده ادامه داد.
