بررسی مقطعی آگاهی، نگرش و عملکرد دانشجویان دختر دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی‌شاپور اهواز در مورد لیشمانیوز‌جلدی

هدف: لیشمانیوزها از بیماری های انگلی شایع در مناطق گرمسیری و نیمه گرمسیری و یکی از مشکلات عمده بهداشتی ایران می باشد. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی آگاهی، نگرش و عملکرد دانشجویان دختر دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی شاپور اهواز در مورد لیشمانیوزجلدی طراحی گردید. روش ها: در این مطالعه توصیفی-تحلیلی ابزارجمع آوری اطلاعات، پرسشنامه ای محقق ساخته با 28 سوال و در 4 بخش (دموگرافیک، آگاهی، نگرش و عملکرد) می باشد که پس از ارزیابی روایی و پایایی، توسط 384 نفر از دانشجویان دختر دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی شاپور اهواز که به روش نمونه گیری طبقه ای انتخاب شدند، تکمیل گردید. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها از نرم افزارspss و آزمون های کای اسکوئر و ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن استفاده شد.نتایج: یافته ها نشان داد بالاترین سطح آگاهی مربوط به دانشکده پزشکی بود. همچنین ارتباط معناداری بین مقطع و نوع دانشکده با آگاهی دانشجویان مشاهده گردید (0/0001>p-value). بهترین نگرش مربوط به دانشجویان کارشناسی بود. ارتباط معناداری بین مقطع تحصیلی با نگرش افراد نسبت به سالک جلدی مشاهده شد (0/019=p-value). دانشجویان دانشکده های پزشکی و بهداشت عملکرد خوبی در مقابله با این بیماری داشتند و ارتباط معناداری بین دانشجویان دانشکده های مختلف با عملکرد گزارش شد (0/041=p-value). نتیجه گیری: بطور کلی با توجه به آگاهی، نگرش و عملکرد نسبتا ضعیفی که در بین دانشجویان به عنوان اولین سطح خدمت به مردم وجود دارد، آموزش آنان در مورد بیماری امری ضروری است.

A crosssectional study of the knowledge, attitude, and practice of female students of Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences about cutaneous Leishmaniasis

Introduction: Leishmaniasis is a common parasitic disease in tropical and subtropical regions of the world and is also one of the major health problems in Iran.This study was designed to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practice of female students of Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences about cutaneous leishmaniasis.Methods: The data collection tool of this crosssectional study was a researchermade questionnaire with 28 questions and 4 parts (demographics, knowledge, attitude, and practice). After evaluating the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, it was completed by 384 female students of Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences who were selected by stratified sampling method. SPSS software and Chisquare tests and Spearman correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data.Results: The highest level of knowledge was related to the the medical school students. A significant relationship was observed between the level and type of faculty with studentschr('39') knowledge (Pvalue˂0.0001). The best attitude was for BS students. Significant correlation was observed between the level of education and the attitude towards cutaneous leishmaniasis (Pvalue= 0.019). Students of medical and health schools had good practice in dealing with the disease.Conclusion: In general, due to the relatively poor knowledge, attitude, and practice that exists among students as the first level of service givers to the the society, it is essential to educate them about the cutaneous leishmaniasis.Key Words: Knowledge, Attitude, Practice, Cutaneous Leishmaniasis
