رابطه‌ سازگاری اجتماعی و اخلاق حرفه‌ای در بین کتابداران کتابخانه‌های دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی تهران

سابقه و هدف: اخلاق حرفه‌ ای کتابداری مجموعه روش ها و منش هایی است که سبب افزایش رغبت مراجعه‌کنندگان به کتابخانه می‌شود. یکی از متغیرهای منتج از اخلاق حرفه‌ای، سازگاری اجتماعی است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی رابطه بین سازگاری اجتماعی و اخلاق حرفه‌ای کتابداران شاغل در کتابخانه‌های دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی شهر تهران صورت پذیرفت.مواد و روش‌ها: روش پژوهش توصیفی- پیمایشی و از نوع همبستگی بود. جامعه آماری پژوهش شامل تمامی کتابداران شاغل در کتابخانه‌های دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی شهر تهران است که از بین آنان به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس و بر اساس جدول مورگان 175 نفر به عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. برای گردآوری داده‌ها از پرسش‌نامه سازگاری اجتماعی و پرسش‌نامه اخلاق حرفه‌ای استفاده شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار spss 22 و آزمون‌های تی تک نمونه‌ای، تی مستقل، تحلیل واریانس و تحلیل رگرسیون مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد بین سازگاری اجتماعی و اخلاق حرفه‌ای رابطه مثبت و معنادار وجود دارد (sig< 0.05). نتایج تحلیل رگرسیون نشان داد مولفه‌های سازگاری اجتماعی 47 درصد توانایی پیش‌بینی میزان اخلاق حرفه‌ای کتابداران را داشتند (sig< 0.05). بررسی متغیرهای جمعیت‌شناختی نشان داد جنسیت، سن و سطح تحصیلات تاثیری بر وضعیت سازگاری اجتماعی و اخلاق حرفه‌ای کتابداران نداشتند. همچنین در کتابخانه بیمارستانی، سازگاری اجتماعی و در کتابخانه دانشکده‌ای، اخلاق حرفه‌ای کتابداران از میانگین بالاتری برخوردار بود. نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به وضعیت مولفه‌های سازگاری اجتماعی و اخلاق حرفه‌ای، چگونگی استخدام کتابداران در کتابخانه‌های دانشگاهی به خصوص در دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی مسئله‌ای حائز اهمیت است و این امر ضرورت توجه جدی مسئولان امر را می‌طلبد.

relationship between social adjustment and professional ethics among librarians in libraries of tehran universities of medical sciences

background and aim: the professional ethics of librarianship consist of methods and behaviors that increase client desire for a library. one of the variables that results from professional ethics is social adjustment. the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between social adjustment and professional ethics of librarians working in the libraries of tehran universities of medical sciences.materials and methods: this descriptive survey study was conducted based on correlation method. the statistical population of the study included all librarians working in the libraries of tehran universities of medical sciences, and 175 persons were selected as a sample using the available sampling method and based on morgan’s table. a social compatibility questionnaire and a professional ethics questionnaire were used to collect data. data were analyzed using spss 22 through one-sample t-tests, independent t-test, anova and regression analysis.findings: the results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between social adjustment and professional ethics (sig<0.05). the results of the regression analysis indicated that 47% of the components of the social adjustment were able to predict the level of professional ethics of librarians (sig<0.05). the study of demographic variables also represented that gender, age, and education level had no effect on librarians’ social adjustment and professional ethics. social adjustment in the hospital library and professional ethics of librarians in the university library also had a higher average.conclusion: considering the status of the components of social adjustment and professional ethics, the question of how librarians should be employed in university libraries, especially in universities of medical sciences, is an important issue that requires the serious attention of the authorities.
