ارزیابی کمی و کیفی مجلات ایران در پایگاه استنادی اسکوپوس طی سال‌های 2012-2000

سابقه و هدف: در عصر حاضر و با پیشرفت سریع فناوری های نوین اطلاعاتی و ارتباطی، بررسی وضعیت مجلات جمهوری اسلامی ایران و تلاش برای ارتقای کمی و کیفی آن ها در سطح بین الملل، از اهمیت ویژه ای برخوردار است. هدف از مطالعه حاضر ارزیابی کمی و کیفی مجلات نمایه شده ایرانی در پایگاه اطلاعاتی اسکوپوس است. مواد و روش ها: پژوهش حاضر، پیمایشیتوصیفی بوده و از نوع کاربردی است که با استفاده از روش های علم سنجی انجام شده است. منبع گردآوری داده ها، پایگاه اطلاعاتی اسکوپوس و جامعه آماری پژوهش را تمامی مجلات علمی کشور ایران تشکیل می دهند که طی سال های 2012-2000 در آن پایگاه نمایه شده اند. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها از نرم افزار آماری excel و برای ترسیم شکل ها از نرم افزار تحلیل شبکه nodexl استفاده شده است. یافته ها: یافته ها نشان می دهد که مجلات نمایه شده ایرانی در پایگاه اطلاعاتی اسکوپوس از 8 عنوان در سال 2000 به 113 عنوان در سال 2012 رسیده است. همچنین طی سال های مورد بررسی، مراکز و موسسات علمی و پژوهشی بیشتری عهده دار مدیریت و نمایه سازی مجلات علمی شده اند. نتیجه گیری : برخلاف رشد کمی تعداد مجلات نمایه شده، کیفیت مجلات نمایه شده ایرانی (به جز چند مورد) از وضعیت مطلوبی برخوردار نمی باشند و توجه و سیاست گذاری در این خصوص، می تواند راهگشا باشد. .

Qualitative and quantitative evaluation of iranian journals in Scopus database during 2000-2012

Background and aim: With rapid innovations and advancements in information and communication technologies in this era, the status of journals of Islamic Republic of Iran and the efforts to improve the quality and quantity of Iranian journals in international level are very important. The present research intends to assess indexed Iranian journals in Scopus database quantitatively and qualitatively. Material and methods : The present research is a descriptive survey which can be applied through Scientometrics methods. Scopus database is the data source here. This research community comprises all Iranian scientific journals indexed in Scopus database during 20002012. Statistical software Excel was used to analyze the data and network analysis software NodeXL was applied to draw shapes. Findings : Findings indicate that an increase in the number of indexed Iranian Journals in Scopus database from 8 titles in 2000 has reached to 113 titles in 2012. These findings also show that more academicscientific institutes and centers have been in charge of managing and indexing scientific journals during the study years. Conclusion: Unlike the quantitative growth in the number of indexed Journals, the quality of indexed Iranian journals (except for few cases) does not have a desirable condition. Thus, the policies on this issue can be helpful in this regard.
