چکیده    This development research was carried out to produce a reading type active learning modelassisted by macromedia flash to improve students' reading comprehension skills. the active readinglearning model consists of six phases, namely, conveying goals and motivating, presenting information,organizing students in groups, guiding group work and study, evaluation, and giving awards. thisdevelopment research uses the 4d development model according to thiagarajan. product validationincludes, namely (a) the feasibility of the model concept, (b) the initial design of the model, and (c)planning the development of the model, testing the properties of the data includes three ways namelynormality test, homogeneity test, and t test. product trials were carried out on six phases of the activelearning model. based on the results of validation, limited trials, and extensive trials, it can be concludedthat the active learning model type reading guide assisted by macromedia flash is feasible to be applied inlearning to read comprehension text exposition.
