کتاب مزار نوشته علی بن مهزیار (از اصحاب معتمد امام رضا، امام جواد و امام هادی(ع)) از کتبی است که در تالیف کتب متقدمان امامیه در موضوع زیارت از آن استفاده شده است. شناسایی احادیث این کتاب با موضوع زیارت - که در کتب موجود متقدمان امامیه باقی مانده - هدف این نوشتار است. با توجه به وثاقت علی بن مهزیار و شهرت و اعتبار کتب او میان محدثان متقدم امامیه وجود زیارات و احادیث فضیلت زیارت در کتاب های او نشانه اصالت زیارت و اهمیت آن در مکتب اهل بیت: است. محتوای این روایات و زیارات بر خلاف نظر برخی مخالفان نشانه آن است که فضایل بسیارِ زیارت اهل بیت: دارای اصالت در سخن معصومان است؛ همچنین امام و سایر اولیای خدا به زائر توجه دارند، صدای او را می شنوند و برای آمرزش گناهان او واسطه می شوند.

one of the works that is referred to when composing the books by the predecessors of imamiyyah on the subject of pilgrimage is the book of mazār, authored by ʿalī ibn mahziyār al-ahwāzī, a reliable companion of imam reza (as), imam javad (as), and imam hadi (as). this article aims to highlight the hadiths on pilgrimage mentioned in this book that permeate the works of imamiyyah forebears. given the dependability of ʿalī ibn mahziyār al-ahwāzī and the authenticity and legitimacy of his writings among the more erudite imamiyyah scholars, the inclusion of pilgrimage texts and hadiths regarding the benefits of pilgrimage in his books is indicative of the legitimacy and significance of pilgrimage for the ahl al-bayt school. contrary to what some opponents claim, the contents of these narrations and pilgrimage texts are evidence of the various benefits of ahl al-bayt pilgrimage. the words of the infallible give it credibility, and the pilgrim is attended to by the imams and infallible who hear his voice and offer prayers for the forgiveness of his sins.
