چکیده    This research numerically studies the dynamics and control of formation, detachment, and post-oscillations of a two-dimensional drop, using the lattice boltzmann method (lbm) with a conservative phase field (cpf) model. the problem is formulated for drop formation and detachment at a non-capillary nozzle with very low velocity. reynolds (re), bond (bo), and capillary (ca) numbers are used for control purposes. the results, validated by comparison with previous studies, show complex dynamics influenced by inertia, viscosity, gravity, and surface tension. drop detachment induces transverse oscillations, affecting subsequent drop formation and limiting axisymmetric assumptions.
