چکیده
|
This study investigates a diagonally loaded square plate specimen's fracture toughness. the specimen has central pre-crakes under loading modes i and ii. iron-based amorphous material with high strain-hardness (200 to 500 mpa) and malleability (10% to 50% elongation) is used for making these plates. the solid alloy strip's thickness is 2 mm. to determine these parts' structure toughness, the idea of hypothetical material is employed. the process also introduces a factor combination of the material's state densities at the electromagnetic and fermi levels. this concept can be used to substitute the linear elastic fracture for iron-based amorphous material only through applying mechanical analysis and with no requirement to conduct intricate analysis. then, the estimation of the values of the fracture toughness of the desired parts is accomplished through the combination of the concept of hypothetical material with growth cracking, criteria of stress generalized, the stress maximum of a tangential stress-generalized maximum of tangential stress, the fermi's energy and densities and the material's electronegative levels. confirming the values of the estimated fracture toughness, fracture tests are done on the desired laboratory samples. from the experimental observations, it can be noted that these parts experience substantial deformation of the crack's threshold. the computing of the stress intensity factors is accomplished using finite element analysis by comsol multiphysics (version 5.6).
