بررسی سازوکار اقدامات نظامی، اطلاعاتی و سیاسی دولت اردن در پشتیبانی از رژیم صدام طی جنگ هشت ساله علیه ایران

رژیم بعثی عراق در 31 شهریورماه سال 1359 شمسی (22 سپتامبر 1980 میلادی) بنابه دلایل متعدد ژئوپولیتیک و ایدئولوژیک هشت سال جنگ ناعادلانه را علیه ایران آغاز کرد. در این جنگ، بازیگران منطقه ای و فرامنطقه ای بنابر مقتضیات و شرایط ایجاد‌شده نسبت به این رویداد واکنش نشان دادند که در این بین، نقش پادشاهی اردن به دلایل عینی و ذهنی در حمایت از رژیم بعثی صدام بیشتر مشهود بوده است. به‌گونه‌ای که در جنگ، اقدامات متعددی در راستای حمایت های سیاسی، اطلاعاتی، نظامی و اقتصادی در سطوح منطقه ای و بین الملل از صدام حسین کرد و به باور بسیاری از تحلیلگران سیاسی، پادشاهی اردن به‌عنوان برجسته ترین حامی صدام حسین در جهان عرب شناخته شده است. هدف از این پژوهش، شناخت رفتار پادشاهی اردن درقبال تجاوز رژیم بعثی عراق به ایران، چرایی اتخاذ سیاست ها و اقدامات حیاتی نظامی اطلاعاتی از جانب این نظام و بررسی رفتار اردن در جنگ و نقش ملک حسین (پادشاه اردن) در حمایت از رژیم بعثی عراق است. بر این اساس، پرسش اصلی این پژوهش آن است که سیاست و اقدامات نظامی و اطلاعاتی دولت اردن درقبال جنگ رژیم بعثی عراق علیه ایران چه بوده است. به‌دنبال آن، نویسندگان بررسی فرضیه‌ای را مبنی‌بر اینکه اردن با اتخاذ اقدامات نظامی سیاسی و اطلاعاتی به حمایت از رژیم بعثی عراق در جنگ هشت‌ساله علیه ایران پرداخته، مد نظر دارند. این پژوهش به شیوۀ توصیفی تحلیلی موردبررسی قرار گرفته و روش گردآوری داده های مرتبط با پژوهش به‌صورت اسنادی است. نتایج این پژوهش نشان می دهد که اردن با اتخاذ حیاتی ترین اقدامات نظامی اطلاعاتی، موثرترین نقش را در حفظ رژیم بعثی عراق و توسعۀ آن در جنگ تحمیلی علیه ایران داشته است.

Investigating the Mechanism of Military, Intelligence and Political Measures of the Jordanian Government in Support of Saddam’s Regime during the Eight-Year War against Iran (Promotional article)

The Ba’athist regime of Iraq started an eightyear unjust war against Iran on September 22, 1980 for various geopolitical and ideological reasons. Regional and transregional actors reacted to this war based on the situations which occurred. The role of Jordan Kingdom in supporting the Ba’athist regime of Saddam was more evident for objective and subjective reasons. During the war, Jordan Kingdom supported Saddam critically, providing political, intelligence, military and economic support at the regional and international levels. Many political analysts believe that Jordan Kingdom was known as the most prominent supporter of Saddam Hussein in the Arab world. This research is intended to clarify the behavior of the Kingdom of Jordan in relation to the invasion of Iran by the Iraqi Ba’athist regime, and that why it selected serious militaryintelligence policies and practices against Iran. Furthermore, Jordan’s behavior in the war and specially the role of King Hussein in supporting the regime is being investigated too. Accordingly, the main question of this study enclosed what the political, military and intelligence practices of the Jordanian government in relation to the Ba’athist regime of Iraq’s war against Iran. The authors then proposed their findings on why Jordan took military, political and intelligence measures to support the Ba’athist regime of Iraq in the eightyear war against Iran. This is a descriptiveanalytical research the data collection of which is performed by documentary method. The results indicated that Jordan Kingdome played a very effective role in sustaining the Ba’athist regime of Iraq in the imposed war against Iran by resorting to the most essential military, intelligence measures.
