تجربه نشان داده است آنچه برای دولت‌ های صاحب‌ نفت در کنار توجه به مسائل بلند مدت همچون انتقال فناوری، ایجاد زنجیرة تولید و برداشت صیانتی، اهمیت زیادی دارد، بالا بردن سهم نفت خود در هر قرارداد و سپس رسیدن به سود بیشتر است. ملاک‌های تعیین سهم طرفین در قراردادهای مربوط به میادین داخلی، بیشتر جنبة مالی، فنی و یا حقوقی دارد، اما به نظر نویسندگان در قراردادهای یکپارچه‌سازی میادین مشترک، افزون‌بر این ملاک‌ها، موارد دیگری مانند شرایط منطقه، ظرفیت‌های طرفین و نحوة تقسیم ریسک موثرند. نتیجة این پژوهش با رویکرد تحلیلی و کاربردی، نشانة این مطلب است که کشور ایران ظرفیت‌های بالایی در مذاکرات مربوط به تعیین سهم دارد که در صورت توجه جامع به آن‌ها با چاشنی انعطاف‌پذیری، می‌توان سهم قابل‌ قبول‌ تری را به‌ دست آورد.

experience has shown that, in addition to addressing long-term goals such as technology transfer, establishing a production chain, and ensuring safe oil production, it is crucial for oil-owning governments to increase their share in each contract to achieve greater profits. the criteria for determining the share of parties in domestic field contracts are primarily financial, technical, or legal. however, according to the authors, in unitization contracts, additional factors—such as regional conditions, the capacities of the parties, and approaches to risk-sharing—also play a significant role. the findings of this research, which adopts an analytical and applied approach, indicate that iran has considerable strengths in negotiations related to share determination, which, if leveraged, could help offset technical and financial limitations.
