بررسی محتوای آموزشی مورد نیاز جهت ایجاد برنامه کاربردی- آموزشی برای مبتلایان به صرع: دیدگاه بیماران و پزشکان

مقدمه: صرع یک بیماری عصبی مزمن و رایج است. در درمان صرع، انتخاب درمان مناسب در کنار آموزش بیمار باید مورد توجه قرار بگیرد. امروزه فن آوری همراه به عنوان یک الگوی امیدوار کننده برای ارتقاء دانش در بیماری های مزمن شناخته می شود. برای طراحی برنامه کاربردی آموزشی باید محتوای آموزشی مورد نیاز تعیین گردد. هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسی دیدگاه پزشکان و بیماران در زمینه محتوای آموزشی مورد نیاز برای ایجاد برنامه کاربردی آموزشی صرع بود.روش: در این مطالعه توصیفی ، دیدگاه 100 بیمار مبتلا به صرع عضو انجمن صرع ایران و 15 پزشک متخصص از اعضا و همکاران انجمن صرع، با استفاده از پرسشنامه ای در خصوص محتوای آموزشی مورد نیاز برای ایجاد برنامه کاربردی آموزشی مبتلایان به صرع مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. این پرسشنامه مشتمل بر 19 سوال در سه حیطه (اطلاعات بیماری، سبک زندگی و داروهای مصرفی) بود. داده های به دست آمده با استفاده از آمار توصیفی (میانگین و انحراف معیار) تحلیل شد.نتایج: یافته ها نشان داد که محتوای آموزشی مورد نیاز برای بیماران مبتلا به صرع شامل اقدامات اولیه، علت، علائم، عوارض و درمان صرع، تاثیر ورزش، خواب، رانندگی، شغل، ازدواج، بارداری، تغذیه در صرع، شناخت داروهای ضدصرع و عوارض آن و اهمیت مصرف منظم داروها بود.نتیجه گیری: این مطالعه محتوای آموزشی مورد نیاز برای بیماران مبتلا به صرع را در سه حیطه سبک زندگی، اطلاعات بیماری و داروهای مصرفی نشان داد. در این سه حیطه مجموعاً، 15 موضوع آموزشی مورد تایید بیماران و متخصصین قرار گرفت که باید در طراحی برنامه کاربردی آموزشی صرع لحاظ گردد.

Determination of the Required Educational Content in the Development of Educational Mobile Application for Patients with Epilepsy: Perspectives of Patients and Physicians

Introduction: Epilepsy is a common chronic neurological disease. In epilepsy treatment process, both of appropriate treatment options and patient education should be considered. Nowadays, mobile technologies have been known as a proper platform for improvement of patients rsquo; knowledge in chronic diseases. The aim of this study was to assess the perspectives of epileptic patients and physicians about the required educational content in developing an educational mobile application for epilepsy.Methods: In this crosssectional study, the perspectives of 100 patients with epilepsy who were members of the Iranian Epilepsy Association and 15 physicians who were members or colleagues of this association were surveyed about the patients rsquo; educational needs. The applied questionnaire included 19 questions in three areas (disease information, lifestyle and used medications). Data were analyzed by the use of descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation). Results: A variety of items such as first aid, cause, symptoms, complications and treatment of epilepsy, the effect of exercise, sleep, driving, occupation, marriage, pregnancy, nutrition in epilepsy, information about antiepileptic drugs and their complications, and the importance of the regular use of medications should be considered in the educational content of the application.Conclusion: This study indicates that the educational content for developing a mobile application for patients with epilepsy from the perspectives of patients and physicians includes three domains of life style, disease information and medication. Totally, 15 educational requirements were identified that should be considered in developing the application.
