تبیین نظری عرفان مانوی

دین مانی سرشار از آموزه‌های عرفانی است که ریشه در اندیشه‌های گنوسی، ایرانی و یونان باستان داشته و با باورهای مسیحی و بودایی پربارتر شده است. بی‌شک یکی از عوامل رشد و پیشرفت سریع این دین ویژگی‌های عرفانی آن است. عرفان مانوی در بطن آموزه‌ها و مفاهیم دینی مانویت نهفته، و کمتر به شکل مجزا به آن توجه شده است. این عرفان با تاکید بسیار، راه نجات روح انسان از اسارت عالم ماده را در کسب معرفت می‌داند. وصول به این معرفت، از طریق خودشناسی و کشف و شهود قلبی است. اهمیت تزکیه نفس و زهد و ریاضت از پررنگ‌ترین بخش‌های این عرفان است. با مروری در متون به‌جامانده از مانویان، عناصر بسیاری یافت می‌شود که دارای اشتراکات بسیار با شاخصه‌های مکاتب عرفانی است. این مولفه‌ها را می‌توان جداگانه دسته‌بندی کرد تا به جهان‌شناسی، معرفت‌شناسی و خداشناسی مستقلی برای این دین عرفانی دست یافت.

The Theoretical Explanation of Manichean Mysticism

Manichean religion is full of mystical teachings rooted in Gnostic, Iranian and Greek thoughts which has been enriched by the Christian and Buddhist beliefs. Undoubtedly, one of the reasons behind the rapid growth and development of this religion is its mystical properties. Yet, it is inherent in the teachings and religious concepts of Manichaeism and has less frequently been investigated separately. This mysticism strongly emphasizes that the survival of the human soul from the bondage of the material world is in acquiring knowledge. Attaining this knowledge is done through selfknowledge and heart intuition. Also, selfpurification, piety, and asceticism are the significant parts of this mysticism. Through a review of the literature left by Manicheans, it is possible to find an abundant of elements which have much in common with the features of a mystical schools. These elements can be separately categorized to enable us to discover an independent cosmology, epistemology and theology for this mystical faith.
