دائو دِ جینگ: سرچشمه‌های اندیشه معاصر فمینیستی

در این مقاله مفهوم «فمینیست» در دائو دِ جینگ بررسی شده است. نویسنده در پی آن است که به جای مفهوم دائویی زنانگی، مفهوم دائویی مکمل‌بودگی زوج‌های متضاد را نشان دهد. وی در بخش نخست، مفهوم زنانگی در دائو دِ جینگ، و ارزش‌ها و آرمان‌های مرتبط با آن را مد نظر قرار می‌دهد. سپس در بخش دوم، مفهوم دائویی زنانگی را در پرتو اندیشه فمینیستی در فلسفه معاصر غرب به گونه‌ای محتاطانه بررسی می‌کند و نشان می‌دهد که مفهوم دائویی زنانه‌نگری به خودی خود چیز چندانی برای تفکر فمینیستی معاصر ندارد؛ در بخش سوم نیز استدلالی اقامه می‌شود به سود این مدعا که تفکر دائویی «سرچشمه‌های مفهومی» مهمی برای عرضه به فلسفه فمینیستی معاصر دارد. در این بخش دو مفهوم اساسی تفکر دائویی، یعنی «دائو» و «دِ»و رابطه میان آنها به عنوان نمونه‌ای از اندیشه‌های اساسی مربوط به مفهوم دائویی مکمل‌بودگی بررسی می‌شود؛ نویسنده در این بخش نشان خواهد داد که این اندیشه‌های اساسی، مبنایی برای رویکردی تازه به مفاهیم زنانگی و مردانگی در اختیار می‌نهند که می‌تواند موضوع بحث تفکر فمینیستی معاصر قرار گیرد.

Dao De Jing: Origins of Contemporary Feministic Thought

In this article the author studies the notion of feminist in Dao De Jing and intends at replacing the Daoist notion of femininity with the Daoist notion of complementarity of the contrasting couples to present interesting perceptions on how to explain femininity (and masculinity). The author of the article interprets the notions of femininity and masculinity in Dao De Jing as interdependent notions. He also suggests that this project is not fruitful unless the dualistic viewpoints or cliché frameworks are purged away from this notion. In the first part he contemplates on the notion of femininity in Dao De Jing as well as the values and ideals associated with it, and then in the second part cautiously studies the Daoist notion of femininity under the light of the feministic thought in the contemporary western philosophy to demonstrate that the Daoist notion of femininity by itself does not have anything for the contemporary feministic thought. In the third part a reasoning is presented to support the claim that Daoist thought enjoys significant "notional origins" to bestow to the contemporary feministic philosophy. In this part two basic notions of Daoist thought namely Dao and De as well as their interrelation are surveyed as an example of thoughts pertaining to the Daoist notion of complementarity. The author demonstrates in this part that these basic thoughts supply us with the ground for a new approach to the notions of femininity and masculinity that could be addressed as a subject of contemporary feministic thought.
