عهد جدید و مسئله ارجاع ها به عهد قدیم

عیسای مسیح و رسولان در موعظه‌های خود برای یهودیان می‌کوشیدند به مطالبی از عهد قدیم استناد کنند؛ همچنین به یهودیان نشان دهند عیسای مسیح مصداق پیشگویی‌های عهد قدیم است. با رجوع به اناجیل و دیگر متون عهد جدید، ارجاع‌های زیادی به عهد قدیم مشاهده می‌شود؛ اما بررسی مآخذ این ارجاع‌ها چند مشکل به وجود می‌آورد؛ زیرا برخی از ارجاع‌ها اصولاً در عهد قدیم وجود ندارد و برخی از آنها نیز گرچه وجود دارد، متفاوت نقل شده‌اند و بین ارجاع و منبع همسانی دیده نمی‌شود. این مسئله تبدیل به یکی از چالش‌های اساسی بین مفسران مسیحی و منتقدان بایبل شده است. منتقدان بایبل این تفاوت را نشانه تحریف عهدین می‌دانند و مدافعان می‌کوشند برای این ناهمسانی پاسخی بیابند و بتوانند پاسخ‌گوی مشکل صحت‌نداشتن ارجاع‌های عهد جدید به عهد قدیم باشند؛ اما منتقدان کتاب مقدس این پاسخ‌ها را نمی‌پذیرند. این نوشتار می‌کوشد به بررسی موشکافانه این ارجاع‌ها بپردازد و پاسخ‌های الهی‌دانان مسیحی در این‌باره را نیز بررسی کند. پرسش اصلی تحقیق این است که آیا می‌توان تمامی ارجاع‌های موجود در عهد جدید به عهد قدیم را در عهد قدیم امروزی یافت؟ شیوه پژوهش این تحقیق، کتابخانه‌ای - توصیفی است.
