انگاره رنج در سروده‌های مانوی

یکی از مضامین اصلی در آموزه‌های مانی، که آشکارا در ادبیات مانوی بازتاب یافته، رنج است. در این دین رنج با امتزاج خیر و شر، یا به بیان بهتر با اسارت نور در بطن تاریکی آغاز می‌شود و تا فرجام جهان استمرار می‌یابد. در حقیقت، این رنج، رنجی کیهانی است که باید تحت فرآیند خاصی با گذر از آن به رهایی و رستگاری دست یافت. از این‌رو، بشارت‌دهنده‌ای از سوی پدر بزرگی، خدای متعال مانوی، فرود می‌آید تا روح را از این رنج اسارت برهاند. از همین‌رو است که تعالیم سخت‌گیرانه‌ای در مانویت آموزش داده می‌شود تا برگزیدگان و پارسایان مانوی نیز، همسو با ایزدان، در کار رهایی انوار ایزدی از بطن تاریکی مشارکت کنند. این تحقیق که به روش تحلیلی‌توصیفی و با محوریت سروده‌های ایرانی مانوی نگاشته شده، در صدد است به ماهیت انگاره رنج در مانویت بپردازد و به درک بهتر ما از فلسفه و عرفان مانوی جهت دهد.

concept of suffering in the manichaean hymns

one of the main themes in mani’s teachings, clearly reflected in manichean literature, is suffering. in this religion, suffering begins with the fusion of good and evil, or rather the entanglement of light in the darkness, and continues until the end of the world. in fact, this is a cosmic suffering, passing through which under a special process would lead to emancipation and salvation. hence, an evangelist from the great father, the almighty manichaean god, descends to free the soul from the suffering of this captivity. this is why strict teachings are taught in manichaeism, so that the chosen and pious manichaeans, along with god, participate in emancipating divine lights from the darkness. this research, conducted with an analytical-descriptive method and a focus on iranian manichaean hymns, seeks to address the concept of suffering in manichaeism and provide a better understanding of manichaean philosophy and mysticism.
