بررسی آثار هنری مانویِ بازیافته از غرب چین با نگاهی به دو مفهوم «رهایی» و «بازگشت نور»

یکی از منابع نظری و فنی مهم هنر ایران در قرون گذشته هنر مانوی است و در گستره‌ای که تفکر مانوی در آن نفوذ کرده آثار هنری بازیافته در غرب چین اهمیت بسیار دارد. این اهمیت در درجهٔ نخست به دلیل تعدد آثار هنری است که از این دیار بر جای مانده و آنگاه به ‌واسطهٔ سطح تکنیکی بالای آن آثار در مقایسه با دیگر نواحی مانوی‌نشین است. از آنجا که بیشتر محققان به فنون به‌کاررفته در این آثار پرداخته‌اند، نویسنده در این پژوهش کوشیده است با نگاهی فلسفی و حِکمی آثار مانوی بازیافته در غرب چین را بررسی کند و اثرگذاری و تاثیرپذیری آنها را در پیوند با مهم‌ترین مکتب موجود در آن ناحیه، یعنی آیین بودایی مهایانه، و نیز هنر بومی منطقه، که همانا هنر اویغوری است، بکاود. در این مقاله، برای تبیین بهتر بحث دو مفهوم/ انگارهٔ مانوی «رهایی» و «بازگشت نور» بررسی شده است.

examining manichean artworks recovered from western china with a look at the two concepts of liberation and return of light*

one of the important theoretical and technical sources of iranian art in the past centuries is manichean art. in the area where manichean thought has penetrated, the artworks recovered in western china are very significant. this importance is primarily due to the number of artworks left from this land, and then due to the high technical level of those works compared to other manichaean regions. since most of the researchers have studied the techniques used in these works, the author of this paper has tried to examine the manichaean works recovered in western china with a philosophical and wisdom perspective, and seeks to analyze how they influenced and were influenced in connection with the most important school in that area, namely mahayana buddhism, as well as the native art of the region, namely uyghur art. in this article, two manichean concepts/ideas of liberation and return of light have been examined for a better explanation.
