نگاهی نو به مسئله رد الشمس؛ بررسی مقایسه‌ای منابع شیعی با عهدین

مسئله رد الشمس، به‌ویژه آنگاه که همچون فضیلت و کرامتی برای حضرت علی (ع) مطرح شد، بحث‌های درازدامنی را در میان مفسران، حدیث‌پژوهان و متکلمان در پی داشت. آنچه در مطالعات مربوط به این موضوع کمبودش احساس می‌شود توجه‌نکردن به وجود این مسئله در عهدین و مطالعات عهدین است. در این نوشتار به دنبال آنیم تا با مقایسه رویکردهای شیعی و عهدینی به این مسئله، به روندهای فکری موجود در میان دو گروه دست یابیم و آنها را با یکدیگر مقایسه کنیم. وجود دو جریان نص‌گرا و عقل‌گرا در مطالعات شیعی و عهدین از اشتراکات این دو گروه است. جریان نص‌گرا می‌خواهد این واقعه را همان‌طور بپذیرد که نقل شده است، هرچند توجیهی عقلی برایش نیابد؛ اما جریان عقل‌گرا در صدد بیان توجیهی باورپذیر و مطابق وقایع خارجی و کشفیات علمی برای این اتفاق است، توجیهاتی همچون وقوع تکانه‌های زمین که هرچند به‌سختی، اما تا حدودی می‌تواند امکان وقوع این حادثه را تبیین کند.

A New Look at the Issue of Returning the Sun; A Comparative Study between Shiite Sources and the Bible

The issue of returning the sun, especially when it was raised as a virtue for Imam Ali (AS), led to longstanding debates among Quran commentators, hadith scholars, and theologians. What has remained unnoticed concerning this matter is its background in the Bible and related studies. In this article, we seek to compare the Shiite and biblical approaches to this issue, in order to identify the currents of thought in these two groups and compare them with each other. The existence of two currents, textualist and rationalist, in Shiite and biblical studies is one of the similarities between two groups. The textualist current wants to accept this incident as it has been narrated, although they do not find any rational justification for it. But the rationalist current seeks to give a plausible justification for this event, in accordance with external events and scientific discoveries, justifications such as the occurrence of earthquakes, which, although difficult, can somewhat explain the possibility of this event.
