مفهوم «رنج» در کیش زردشتی و مسیحیت: رویکردی مقایسه‌ای بر پایه متون پهلوی و عهد جدید

در بخش‌های مختلف عهد جدید و نیز در متون پهلوی شواهد فراوانی درباره رنج وجود دارد. در خلال روایات موجود و نیز پاسخی که این ادیان برای رنج واردشده به مقدسان و مردمان عادی می‌دهند می‌توان به حکمت وجودی رنج در مسیحیت و زردشتی پی برد. این پژوهش در نظر دارد با کنار هم قراردادن شواهدِ متنی در باب مفهومی واحد (رنج)، با تکیه بر ادبیات پهلوی و عهد جدید، جایگاه این انگاره را در دین مسیحیت و زردشتی تبیین و با هم مقایسه کند. به نظر می‌رسد زردشتیان به دلیل ثنویت‌انگاری دلیل وجودی رنج در زندگی را مشخص کرده‌اند و آن را از ناحیه اهریمن می‌دانند و به تبع آن رویکرد باورمندان این دین نیز معلوم است، در حالی که در مسیحیت رنج در زندگی لازمه مومن‌شدن است و ما با مفهوم «رنج مقدس» یا همان رنج واردشده از طرف خدا مواجهیم.

the concept of suffering in zoroastrianism and christianity: a comparative approach based on pahlavi texts and the new testament

there is ample evidence of suffering in various parts of the new testament as well as in pahlavi texts. through the existing narrations and also the answer that these religions give to the saints and ordinary people for their suffering, one can understand the existential wisdom of suffering in christianity and zoroastrianism. putting together textual evidence about a single concept namely suffering, this study intends to explain and compare the position of this idea in christianity and zoroastrianism based on pahlavi literature and the new testament. it seems that zoroastrians, due to their dualism, have identified the reason for the existence of suffering in life and consider it to be on the part of the devil, and consequently the approach of the believers of this religion is also wellknown. however, according to christianity, suffering in life is necessary to become a believer, and we are confronted with the concept of holy suffering or the suffering inflicted by god.
