مفهوم عرفانی «خداگونگی» و امکان خداگونگی انسان در مسیحیت

هدف و مقصد کلیِ حیات معنوی در مسیحیت ارتدوکس با مفهوم «خداگونگی» بیان می‌شود. در سرتاسر فیلوکالیا که مجموعه‌ای بزرگ و معتبر در عرفان مسیحیت ارتدوکس است، تصریح می‌شود که انسان مخلوقی است که مقرر شده است خدا شود. به این معنا که آنچه انسان به آن فراخوانده می‌شود صرفاً اطاعت از خدا در قالب سبکی از زندگی اخلاق‌محور نیست، بلکه او باید علاوه بر زیست اخلاقی به گونه‌ای بی‌واسطه و با تکیه بر درون و ذاتِ خود در موجودیت و شکوه خدا که یگانه‌ای تثلیثی است، شریک شود. مقدّربودنِ خداگونه‌شدن برای انسان از منظر نویسندگان و مفسّران فیلوکالیا پیام اصلی این کتاب و مضمونی است که این متن عظیم و متشکل از متون مختلف را «یگانه و یک‌دست» کرده است. در این مقاله می‌کوشیم مفهوم «خداگونگی» را از منظرهای متفاوت بکاویم و در پایان به نتیجه‌ای مشخص درباره چگونگی امکان آن از نگاهِ قدیسان فیلوکالیا دست یابیم.

The Concept of Theosis And Its Possibility in Christianity

The general goal and destination of spiritual life in orthodox Christianity is expressed through the concept of theosis (or deification). Throughout Philokalia which is a large and respected collection in the mystical orthodox Christianity, it is proclaimed that human beings are creatures which are decided to become God. That is to say, what they are called to is not merely obedience towards God in the form of a moralityoriented lifestyle. But, rather, in addition to leading a moral life, they should immediately and in reliance upon their inner self and essence share the being and majesty of God who is a hypostatic union. From the perspective of Philokalia’s authors and commentators, theosis is the prime message of the book and a theme which unifies and standardizes the huge text which is comprised from different texts. This article tries to explore theosis from different perspectives, and finally to reach a clear conclusion on the way it is possible in the view of the saints of Philokalia.
