طراحی یک مدولاتور دلتا سیگمای متعامد زمان گسسته

مدولاتورهای دلتا سیگمای متعامد با مصرف توان و سخت افزار معادل، پهنای باند بزرگتری نسبت به نوع حقیقی آن داشته و برای کاربرد در گیرنده های low if رواج پیدا کرده اند. در این نوع گیرنده ها، خروجی میکسر متعامد مستقیما توسط یک مدولاتور متعامد به دیجیتال تبدیل می شود. استفاده از یک مدولاتور متعامد بجای دو مدولاتور حقیقی، باعث افزایش کارآیی گیرنده و کاهش مصرف توان در این ساختار می شود. در این مقاله ساختار مدولاتور دلتا سیگمای متعامد بررسی شده و تفاوت آن با مدولاتور دلتا سیگمای حقیقی پایین گذر و میان گذر شرح داده  شده است. برای نمونه یک مدولاتور حقیقی مرتبه دو زمان گسسته پیاده سازی شده و به مدولاتور متعامد تبدیل شده است.

quadrature delta-sigma modulators with equivalent power consumption and hardware in comparison with real delta-sigma, have a larger bandwidth and have become popular for use in low if receivers. in this type of receivers, the output of the complex mixer is directly converted to digital by a quadrature modulator. using a quadrature modulator instead of two real modulators increases the efficiency of the receiver and reduces power consumption in this structure. in this article, the structure of the quadrature delta-sigma modulator is investigated and its difference with the real low-pass and band-pass delta-sigma modulators is described. for sample, a two order real time discrete modulator has been designed and converted into a quadrature modulator.
