نقش ویژگی‌های فردی، اقتصادی- اجتماعی خانوار و پیکره‌بندی معابر بر پیاده روی دانش‌آموزان دبستانی شهر شیراز

امروزه سبک زندگی کودکان به طور فزاینده‌ای به سمت کم تحرکی پیش رفته است، پیاده روی بین خانه و مدرسه می تواند راهی نسبتاً مناسب و در دسترس برای افزایش فعالیت فیزیکی روزانه دانش آموز باشد. هدف این پژوهش، بررسی روابط میان ویژگی های فردی، اقتصادی- اجتماعی خانواده و پیکره بندی معابر بر پیاده روی دانش آموزان دبستانی مدارس دولتی است. بدین منظور ابتدا شش منطقه از شهر شیراز با ویژگی های متفاوت از نظر پیکره بندی معابر انتخاب و سپس به صورت تصادفی، 18 دبستان دولتی دخترانه و پسرانه انتخاب و از میان مدارس نمونه، 1021 دانش آموز به صورت تصادفی انتخاب شده‌اند. بنابراین اطلاعات فردی و خانوار در قالب اطلاعات زمینه ای توسط والدین در قالب پرسشنامه جمع آوری و اطلاعات پیکره بندی معابر با استفاده از نرم افزار depth map در محدوده 1200 متر اطراف مدرسه استخراج شد. یافته ها نشان داد که بین متغیرهای زمینه ای سن و تعداد فرزند خانوار رابطه مثبت و بین جنسیت، تحصیلات پدر، مالکیت خودرو و تعداد افراد دارای گواهی نامه در خانوار با پیاده روی کودک رابطه منفی وجود داشت. در میان ویژگی های پیکره بندی معابر، انتخاب، اتصال و هم افزایی رابطه ای مثبت و عمق رابطه ای منفی با پیاده روی دانش آموز به مدرسه داشتند. علاوه براین، فاصله به عنوان مهمترین عامل دارای رابطه منفی با پیاده روی دانش آموزان بود. این مطالعه شواهد مهمی را برای برنامه ریزان و سیاست گذاران شهری در مورد اهمیت پیکره بندی معابر اطراف مدرسه بر روی سفر دانش آموزان فراهم می کند. یک اصل مهم این است که، طراحی یک شبکه خیابان با دسترسی و ارتباط بالا و همچنین افزایش خوانایی معابر، می توان ادراک والدین و دانش آموزان را جهت استفاده از پیاده روی بین مدرسه و خانه سوق داد.

The Effect of Individual and Socio-Economic Properties of Families and Street Configuration on the Walking of Elementary Students of Shiraz City

Today, the lifestyle of children is increasingly changing to sedentary. Walking between home and school can be a relatively convenient and possible plan to increase the student’s daily physical activity. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between individual and socioeconomic properties of families and street configuration on the walking of elementary students of public schools in Shiraz city. For this purpose, six regions of Shiraz with different features have been selected initially in terms of passages configuration, then 18 public elementary schools for girls and boys as well as 1021 students were randomly selected. Therefore, parents in the questionnaires filled background information, including personal and family information, and street configuration was extracted around 1200m of the schools using Depth Map software. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between age and the number of children in the family, and there was a negative relationship between gender, father’s education, car ownership, and the number of the family members with the driving license. In addition, there was a positive relationship between street configuration, choice, connectivity, and synergy and a negative relationship between depth and walking of students. Moreover, the distance between home and school had a negative relationship as the most crucial factor with the walking of students. This study provides essential confirmation for urban planners and policymakers about the importance of street configuration around the school in the daily travel of students. One important principle is that designing a street network with high accessibility and communication and also increasing the legibility of streets can lead the perception of parents and students to use them in their walking between school and home.
